JILY "Alright Evans???"

Chapter 9

Lily

"LILY" I hear my mum shouting from the kitchen.

"Coming mum" I yell and go back to pack up my clothes.

I was wearing a yellow tank top with a dark blue denim skirt reaching till my knees and a pair of flats. I let my hair into a ponytail before moving over to my bookshelf to pick a book in case I got bored.

I walk down to the kitchen and greet my mum before pouring myself some orange juice.

"So ere arr utniaaa addd aaadd" I ask my mum taking a big bite of waffles with coffee flavored cream.

"LILY JANE EVANS"
"How many times do I have to tell you not to speak with your mouth full." she shrieks at me.

"Sorry mum" I say gulping down my food and taking a sip of juice.

"So where are dad and tuney ?" I ask her again.

"Your dad's in the hall and Petunia went to visit her friends." she said pulling over a chair to take a seat at the table.

I dig into my waffles helping myself to a second serve as dad enters the kitchen polishing his glasses.

"Save any for me Lils" he asks smiling at me.

"Plenty" I say as I take another bite grinning at him as he kisses my forehead and settles down on another chair pouring himself some tea.

"Lily, I've baked some cookies and packed them along with some brownies. Make sure you put those in yo--" mums voice was disgruntled by the sound of screeching tyres coming from outside.

"What was that." my dad asks looking perplexed, going towards the kitchen window to look for the source of sound followed by me.

With another bang and a puff of smoke, a blurry object disappears from sight and a tall silhouette moves towards our front porch, pushing his long hair away from his face, wearing a black jacket, white T-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans with brown hunting boots.

"Sirius?" I gasp.

Oh Merlin, Of all the people Potter could have sent, he sent Siriusss!!!. I'm doomed.

There is a knock on the door and my mum goes to get it while I get back to take a sip of my juice and follow my mother towards the door along with my dad.

My mum opens the door to reveal Sirius standing with a bunch of lilies neatly put together with a transparent paper and a red ribbon with gold stripes.

"Ah!, you must be Mrs Evans, pleasure to meet you" he says bowing slightly while he took my mum's hand and gently kissed the back of her hand making a blush creep up her face.

"Mum, this is Sirius my friend from school." I say breaking the silence, ushering him to come in while I closed the door behind him.

"Hello sir" Sirius held out his hand to my dad and he took it shaking it firmly eyeing Sirius from the corner of his eyes.

"Oh! Where are my manners, why don't you come into the living room Sirius" my mum said still charmed by the way he greeted her.

Ugghhh... The last thing I wanted was to see my mum ogling over my friends.

"Sure Mrs Evans " he said before turning over to me and handing me the flowers saying "James sent them for you".

I rolled my eyes at the flowers but couldn't help but notice that they were very pretty.

I put them in the vase discarding the previous flowers as I join my parents in the living room.

"So are you just friends or.. " my dad took his protective mode and threw the question at Sirius.

"Daddd." I yell at him embarrassed.

"Oh no sir I'm pretty sure we're just friends, not that your daughter isn't good but I'd prefer dating someone from your family if you had a son." Sirius says and I spit out the juice I was drinking back, my mother bursts into laughter while my father is confused as fuck.

"Oh dear" my mum exclaims reaching out to pat Sirius on his back while my father still not catching the drift looks perplexed.

"I mean I'm gay sir." he explains while my father's expression softens and he chuckles lightly.

Sirius smirks at me while my mother laughs at my father.

"I'll get my bag" I say as I run up the stairs and grab my rucksack and adjust my hair a little looking into the mirror before jumping down the stairs towards the living room.

"Oh there's nothing wrong in being who you are, in fact it takes immense courage to say you love someone whom the society doesn't expect you to be with." I hear my mother say as I walk into the living room to find Sirius comfortably talking with both my parents.

"Shall we Sirius?" I ask him while he curtly nods and gets up to bid goodbye to my parents.

"Here, I've made some cookies" she hands over the parcel to Sirius and he dramatically thanks them before walking out the door.

"James would love your parents" he says as we walk down the lawn towards the road.

"How are we getting there" I ask him completely ignoring his previous comment.

He raises his wand hand and with a similar screeching sound, a red double decker bus appears in front of us leaving my mouth gaping.
