"Welcome to the knight bus" a wizard calls over to us from the bus.

"Hurry up" Sirius says before getting into the bus.

I follow him up and look around to see witches and wizards sitting gingerly on comfortable chairs, a staircase leading to the upper deck and a door which I assumed to be the washroom.

"ticket" the young man asks breaking my trance while Sirius fishes out some wizard money from his pocket.

"Potter manor" he says handing him the appropriate amount of coins when I interrupt him.

"let me pay for myself ." I say reaching for my purse when he pushes it away and turns me around leading towards a set of chairs.

"Prongs would kill me if he knew I let you pay" he says sitting on one chair while I settle down the other.

"let's go" the wizard yells at the driver and with a sudden jerk, the bus is moving at a speed quite impossible for any muggle vehicle, rounding corners harshly throwing the passengers into dismay and I swear it should have hit some poles but they all move out of the path.

I fell like throwing up (damn my waffles) with the speed the bus was going but I knew that I'd be dead before even reaching the washroom, so I held onto my seat tightly and closed my eyes. I could feel Sirius looking at me but I couldn't care less if a hippogrif was flying around me.

For the next seven minutes, twenty-six seconds, I sat with my eyes closed.

"Potter manor" came the wizards voice again and the bus came to an abrupt halt throwing me mercilessly to the front and I was sure my face would have been smashed if not for Sirius holding me back.

I immediately scurried out of the death trap and breathed fresh air. I heard another bang and knew that the bus went away. After a moment of long breaths, I slowly took in the surroundings. We were standing on a gravel road, leading down a small hill on which we were standing. I could hear the sound of waves and a slow sea breeze hit my face relieving me of all my worries. Standing on the cliff some 500 meters away was the most beautiful mansion I've ever seen with a big lawn on the front, railings leading on both sides of the gate.
On the railing on the left side of the gate was a black stone plate with gold engraving which read 'POTTER MANOR'.

"Whoa" I exclaim.

"I know right" says Sirius smirking at me.

"Potter lives here?." I ask him

"It's their summer house." he said matter of factly.

"WHAT" I half yell at him.

"We live hear over the summer" he said moving towards the gate.

"We ?" I ask him confused.

"Since I've run away from my family after our fourth year, I've basically lived with Potters." he said still looking forward.

"So you and Potter stay together?" I ask again.

"That's the best part" he says grinning.

"They must be as rich as the Malfoy's I think" I said still looking at the manor in awe.

Sirius burst out laughing, holding his stomach and bending over his knees to stop him from rolling on the ground.

"WHAT" I say feeling slightly flustered.

"The Potters may be thrice as rich as the Malfoys, Evans. They just don't flaunt their wealth in front of others noses." he says recovering from his fit of laughter.

"Hmmm" I say recalling the way Malfoy swept through the hallways of Hogwarts and the supposed sneer on his face when he finds out that the Potters are wealthier than his family.

We reach the gate and push it open and walk towards the front door.
I look over at the flowers blooming along the pathway, benches along the left side of the railing and a small cluster of trees at a distance from the manor on the right side.

We reach the door and Sirius open the door moving in gesturing for me to follow him.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" was all I could manage our of my mouth when I saw the interior of the house. The house was parted with a massive set of stairs moving upto the hallway. On the left side, a huge living room with a hearty fire in the hearth greeted my sight with huge sofas, chairs and love seats with an ivory coffee table. It was classically designed with some antiques hear and there beautiful arranged. A slight distance from the living room was a door ajar giving me a view of a library which could easily compare to the one in the Hogwarts with every type of wizarding and muggle book available including some books I swear could be even found in the restricted section of Hogwarts library.

Towards the right, a large dining room greeted our sight with impressive silver cutlery and an archway which lead to an open kitchen with a huge kitchen island and a massive counter along with posh cupboards that lined the walls.

There were also closed doors which I suspect led to some other rooms and a glass chandelier hanging from the high ceiling.

"Shall we" came Sirius's voice shaking me back to my senses and my eyes were talking as much information as possible from the warm looking interior.

He leads me up the stairs and down a hallway to a door. He pushed it open to reveal highly furnished room with sea blue interior and a king size bed in the middle with a desk, nightstand and a wardrobe. The most beautiful part of the room was the scenery from the window which gave me a view of the beautiful backyard and the sea below the cliff running for miles across my view merging with the sky at a some point.

"Prongs made sure that this room wasn't occupied so that you could have it" Sirius said.

"Mine and James room is across yours, so if you need anything you can find us. Also freshen up and come down for lunch." he says closing the door.

I freshen up and leave the room to hear someone humming from Potter's room. So I casually push open the door and walk in only to be stopped dead in my tracks to find James bloody Potter with a towel around his waist drying his hair with another one.
