It had been a while since the stones began to follow the stones and she was starting to get tired of flying. Finally, they just stopped glowing and fell down towards a hidden hole in the ground. CC then dove down to catch up and see what was there and why they had stopped glowing. Right as she went down the secret hole, she clipped her wing on a sharp rock that she then began to lose control of what she was doing. "AH! NOT AGAIN!" she shouted as she fell down the hole. After colliding with all the rocks, she finally crashed into the ground where she felt something wet.

After catching her breath looking around the place, she looked at the wet stuff and noticed it was water. How is there still water when it's probably below freezing? CC thought as she finally brushed her lap. It didn't seem too bad but she looked down at her hands and saw they were turning blue. What the heck! She cried looking at her hands and lit her wings on fire to try and warm herself up. Her wings were somewhat blue too but she eventually got them to return to their normal state. Soon everything else turned back to a normal color and she was no longer turning blue or any other color. I've gotta keep moving... now where are those stones! She told herself as she recovered. She saw the six she pulled out in the corner and went over to pick them up.

When she did, she noticed there was a foot in front of her. "Oh, sorry, I didn't realize anyone else was down here!" CC replied and looked up. The foot belonged to a frozen statue of a person who had her claws outstretched and her eyes full of fear. "AH!" CC shouted and fell back. She bumped into another statue where it was a young man holding a spear in his hands. She cried out again and found that there were eight more just like the others. Once that information sunk in, CC took a closer look at the frozen statues. There were exactly ten. Looking at each one, CC saw that they all represented the ten Academies in the land. Ravens, Raptors, Spartans, Tigers, Cougars, Knights, Panthers, Wildcats, and Huskies, and Phoenix's. But why are they like this? CC wondered as she looked around more. As she walked some more, she bumped into something.

She thought it was a rock at first, but when it suddenly made a hissing, growling sound, she knew it wasn't that. "Who dares to intrude my rest!" she heard the voice. CC jumped back and tried her best to get to a safe place but felt something wrap around her waist. "Where do you think you're going?" she heard the voice snapped. When CC couldn't get free, she realized that voice belonged to a huge dragon with a very long tail. He snorted at her as he brought her closer to his face. "Hm, interesting, I would've thought a human like you would've died already. Oh well, I am hungry." he replied and began bringing CC closer to his huge jaws. Thinking quickly, CC stopped the motion of his tail with her mind and he looked at her confused. "How are you doing this!" he roared. CC didn't answer, instead grabbed her knife and stabbed it into the dragon's tail.

He screeched and tossed her against the wall, making her grunt loudly. The dragon reared back before releasing huge chunks of ice towards her. She dodged all of the ice blasts coming towards her. Right when the dragon began to rotate, CC dug through her bag and picked out the Phoenix stones to use them. The Ice dragon looked at her fiercely and began to breathe out ice. CC used the Phoenix stones and diverted his powers. "What do you want, human! Not even powerful Phoenix's can do what you're doing!" the dragon snapped. "I'm looking for answers! Not even you can keep me from saving my family!" CC shouted and the ice magic was snapped towards him. "AGH! You must be a foolish Master Warrior or a Professor... never once have I had a worthy opponent!" he cried as he slammed her against the wall with his tail. She grunted and soon took out all 50 stones to fight him.

"I'm neither of those things. I'm just an Apprentice trying to save my friends. You're right, I'm no one special, never have been! Sure you're the mighty Ice dragon, but you have no idea what I've been through to get here to get help. My friends are captured, my new ally just lost her life, I'm all alone, and I don't know what to do. But even that won't stop me from rescuing my friends from tyrants!" CC snapped. The dragon lifted his elegant head and sniffed CC curiously before she put the stones in his face again. "Never in my life have I seen a Phoenix so angry. What do you need me for exactly?" he growled. "I wanna know how to control all of these at once. Without the table, without any help, and without anyone trying to hurt me. I need to stop people trying to hurt my home... I have to fix what Master Chang couldn't." CC replied.

When the name was spoken, the dragon couldn't help but frown and look away. "You've heard about my master?" he asked softly. "Yeah... I have. I know a lot more from his journal and scrolls left behind at our Academy. I can't do this alone, I need help." CC replied sadly. "I wish I could say I was surprised but, someone was bound to uncover all of this eventually. What is your name?" he asked her. "Well, my real name is Carmen. However, I go by CC now. It helps me move away from my broken past." she replied. "I can tell. In fact, I know a lot of things. Which is why I didn't kill you on the spot." he explained. "My name is Glace... and I suppose I will help you. But just know, this isn't easy." Glace told her. CC nodded her head and watched as he stepped back and tossed her up in the air. "Do you have all the mystery stones?" he asked her, his tone fierce.

"Y-Yes! But why?" she asked him nervously. His eyes shone in the cave and he motioned towards the frozen statues of the Academy representatives. "I know you were an old Omega. Not all of them are given the power to look into the past of others. But because they're long dead, it's not as easy as it seems. You must use the mystery stones to peer into the past in order to find out what you must do to solve your problem." he explained. "Can't you just tell me? I mean you can also control these stones right?" CC asked, a little annoyed. "Yes, I can. But sometimes you understand better when you see it through your own eyes. Besides, I haven't used these in forever, I hardly remember how. But based on how far you've come, you seem smart enough to figure it out." Glace replied. CC nodded her head and pulled out the 10 purple mystery stones.

She made them float around and circle around the frozen statues. Then using her hidden power, her eyes turned white as the stones glowed up. Right as she was about to give up, the place flashed for one second, before she was teleported to a new world.
