Chapter 10

Whenever you saw Katsuki, you teased him about your date with him. He always got angry and scowled at you. He ran after you, yelling empty threats.

Right now, you were at the train station for your intern. You found your train and entered with your partner. You looked out the window, watching the world go by.

"Tokoyami, does dark shadow have his own mind?"

"Sure I do!" Dark shadow came out and held out his hand. "I'm still mad at you for pulling me like that. Nice to meet you."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to!" You shook his hand. "I thought you would be a problem if you used your quirk so I had to act quickly."

Dark shadow took that as a compliment and retreated.

"(L/n), I've noticed you like dark humor."

You tilted your head. "Yep, it's as dark as my soul."

His face lit up. "Revelry I'm the dark."

"Revelry in the dark." You agreed.

Some people around you stared and sighed, thinking you were angsty teenagers.

"I've also noticed you have a dark past."

You flinched. "It's not dark, it's..." You thought for a moment.

"It's?"

You tried to think hard but ended up with nothing. You pointed to the window. "Revelry in the dark."

Then you pretended to sleep while Tokoyami looked away. He stared at you for a while.

"Pfft---!"

You opened one eye and saw Tokoyami covering his mouth, trying hard to not laugh.

"What's funny? What's so funny?" You asked him.

"N-nothing!" He composed himself. "I won't force you to reveal your tragic backstory."

That's how your favorite person became your favorite friend.

You tilted your head. "Are we gonna train with Aizawa, Hawks?"

He nodded, leaning against his walking stick. "I still have to heal so Aizawa will help me."

You looked over and noticed a kid. You waved and he looked away with a scowl.

"I'm (Y/n) (L/n)!" You exclaimed, holding out your hand.

He brushed your hand away and glared at you. "Just because you're in the hero course, doesn't mean you're better." He spat.

"I never said I was better. I've got an axolotl quirk, it's more suited for support anyway. I got this far by training!!"

You clenched your fists with a sparkle in your eyes. "Hawks trained me hard enough to make sure I was in a hero level!"

Shinso's eyes dilated. "What comes with your axolotl quirk?"

"An axolotl, immunity to cancer and disease, I am rather delicate though. I can heal, but it drains my water very quickly. I can give immunity to cancer to others with my blood.

But it has to be the same blood type! I've got many others I can't really explain."

"Tragic backstory..." Tokoyami said from the background.

You sweatdropped and composed yourself. "What's your quirk?"

"Well, I can control a person by asking them a question."
