Nini's POV "And of course hollywire has already been here!" I said as I put my phone down, "of course they have. #Rini is tending on twitter," Ricky said. "How have you been?" I ask him, "fine!" I said, "fine? Dude your album is number one and all you can say is fine." I say to him, "yeah I can ms. Veronica Sawyer!" Ricky said, "you follow me?" I ask him, "what I know that plot of Heathers! It was really good," Ricky said. "what do you mean?" I ask him, "my tour was in New York and I went and saw it." Ricky admitted, "really?" I asked, "yeah and then I saw you with Brayden and you look really happy. So I walked away," Ricky said. "Oh!" I said and I had no idea of that happening, "yeah and than now we are in Salt Lake. I did not know that you were coming," Ricky said. "Well I had no idea either until yesterday," I tell him. "That's a relief!" He joked and we both laughed. Then it was a awkward silence again, "engaged to Brayden? The boy that you told me not to worry about," he said. "Ricky I'm sorry!" I said, "no it's fine. No one has control over who you marry and love." Ricky said, "are still talking to Lilith?" I ask him, "yeah she is my best friend over there. How is Rose?" He asked me, "she is good and she still hates your guts!" I said, "typical Rose!" He said and we both laughed, "they are not coming back are they?" Ricky asked, "yeah probably not!" I said, "you wanna get out of here?" He asked and I give him a look. "God no not like that!" And I laughed, "yeah!" I said, "ice cream?" He asked me, "it's November!" I said, "too bad!" He said and he ran out, "looks like you are still a child!" I said, "oh hell yeah!" He said and we laughed, "so how bad is the festival?" Ricky asked when we sat down at the ice cream place. "It's bad! Like bad! Mike is talking about not being Santa. The 8th graders in the honor society and the church are such brats!" I tell him, "are you for real? We looked forward to 8th grade just for that!" Ricky said, "I know! Kids theses days!" I said, "yeah! Wow!" Ricky said, "what?" I asked, "I have not been back since the break up!" He said while looking around, "yeah same but not just here like this whole town!" I said, "yeah same! I was kind of leaving here for you!" Ricky admitted, "I did the same!" I admitted as well and we talked for like a hour and I looked at my phone.

"Everything ok?" Ricky asked me, "yeah I guess!" I said and we left and we were walking to his car. "So you still have that crappy old car?" "Yes I do! But only here," he said and got into the car. When he started the car the sound that it made I could tell it was struggling. "See brand new!" "Right brand new!" I said and laughed and he drove me home. "Thanks for the drive home!" "Anytime!" He said and I got out of the car and walked inside. "How was it?" Momma C asked, "why does this feel like coming home from a date? I'm going to bed," I said. Ricky's POV When I pulled in there was no lights on. I walked into the house and up to my room. As soon as I open the door so many flashbacks came back. We spent so much time in this room. This was where we came after freshman year homecoming after Luke stood Nini up. The night that Nini came here after she broke up with Howie and this is where I told her that I liked her. Everything was in the same place that I left it sophomore year when I was pissed after I lost Nini. This is going to be a interesting next 2 months.
