Bittersweet Temptation

A/N: Hope you like this new arc! Sorry if this took too long!

A young man cries out as he suck another woman whom he last invited inside his room. He realized that he is also a vampire but he acts like a Level E. He looks very much innocent to be suspected for being the man that Frances last sucked and him, accepting her. His eyes fluttered open after he finished. He had become a vampire just because Frances took away his human self...

He looked at his red eyes at his mirror and screamed, "WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He had just finished drinking a woman's blood that turned to ashes already.

Ryoma is his friend...

Ryoma is respected like a noble even he was just a Level D just like him but, he had a pureblood vampire grandmother.

Him?

If the Vampire Council and the Council of Ancients learn about him, he would surely be eliminated.

He accepted Frances for having fear that if he doesn't accept, he'll just die like Zero. He has to act human and hide his true self. He has to pretend that blood is not what makes his thirst go away and he is still human.

Tears engulfed him. When Frances was still alive, he was happy. He doesn't regret his choice to obey her even he was just bitten after everyone thought that he's dead. Frances treated her special.

No one knows that when Daisuke shot him, he was only acting. He doesn't have special abilities like Ryoma...

His brother do not know he was still alive. He was attending both classes without Cross Kaien noticing. If Cross Kaien learns about it, he knows he's doomed, most especially, he was hiding from his own brother.

Yes, Fuji Yuuta was the man that wanted to avenge Frances. Soon enough, he knows that his own brother would find out his temptation.

He has to act human to also kill Zero's brother. He smirked after knowing that there was a Level E who twisted all the facts about him to lead them astray, especially, his real mission.

He'd destroy himself after killing him but, what he doesn't know, Ichiru Kiryu wasn't someone he must underestimate.

"Why are you back here???" asked Cross Kaien to Ichiru that night.

Ichiru smiled. "I heard that there was a vampire hiding here in Day Class and that, there were Vampire Hunters investigating to protect Yumiko and Ryoma."

"So, what about it?"

Ichiru sighed. "You fell into his trap. He's dangerous. I know who this man is and I'd want to help find him!"

Kaien stood up in shock, "What are you talking about?"

"You haven't noticed yet, am I right? He's been stalking me since I came in this school. He won't touch a hair of your precious Ryoma," Ichiru told him.

Fuji Yuuta, who was just outside wanted to get inside the room but, if he did that, he'll be turning himself in. He really felt angrier at him for saying he couldn't touch a hair out of Ryoma. Who is he to judge, right? But then again, Ryoma has special abilities that he inherited from his pureblood roots...

He left and decided to go back to his room but, to his surprise, as he was near his room, he was almost caught by Inui, along with Oishi and Eiji. Denver's at their back and they were investigating about who might have sucked the blood of a poor woman who just cut herself before going to bath.

He quickly backed away but Ichiru Kiryu was already looking at him.

"So, you're the Vampire whose mission is to kill me," Ichiru held out his sword and pinned him on the wall.

"I'd destroy you before anyone learns about you!" Ichiru screamed. Inui and Eiji heard it and rushed there but upon seeing Yuuta alive, they couldn't believe it.

"How come you're alive???" they all asked him.

Yuuta laughed, "Have I acted well??? The Yuuta you all knew is buried deep on the ground now!"

Those who were there cannot accept that Yuuta lied and had hurt his own brother.

Cross Kaien heard the commotion and was also surprised after seeing him, too. He felt ashamed for not knowing that there was someone that could get pass through his knowing.

"Why target me?" Ichiru asked him while pointing the sword at him.

Yuuta answered, "Your parents killed my master's first servant!!! She was also working with Shizuka Hio while she was trying to persuade your brother to suck her blood but, what did he do? He killed her! He even helped Ryoma to kill Frances!"

Kaname suddenly appeared and told him, "Zero didn't kill Shizuka. I devoured her."

Yumiko who was just following her brother overheard it. She was surprised that her brother revealed it to them making her gasp in sadness and cry. She's happy that they weren't the target but, if Ryoma learns that Yuuta is still alive, he'll be hurt. He'll feel a bittersweet emotion towards the situation and for her, she decided to hide it but for how long?

Suddenly, at that same corridor filled with hanging paintings, glass windows and gold statues, she heard Kaname that he would kill him making her to run and hold her brother's sword which was ready to strike Yuuta, shocking so many of them around that place. She cried, "Please don't do this, nii-san! What if Ryoma learns that you killed him? What if Shuusuke-kun learns you killed his brother? Please, if you want to punish him, put him behind bars under this school."

Cross Kaien agreed, "Because of his sins, he has to be put on punishment and be at the cold dungeon."

Kaname calmed down and ordered the hunters around them, especially at Ichiru, "Bring him at the dungeon. Most of all, hide this truth from Fuji Shuusuke and Ryoma."

Oishi nodded.

Inui nodded.

Denver agreed.

Eiji shook his head.

"What's the matter with my decision?" he asked him.

"If Ryoma-kun learns this truth from somebody else, he would lose his trust to us, vampire hunters. He has to know. Fuji Shuusuke has to know!" Eiji told them.

Kaname understood his predicament and agreed but in their surprise, Yumiko shouted, "I REFUSE!!!!!!!!!!! I DON'T WANT TO HURT MY SERVANT ANYMORE!!!!!!" She ran so fast that Kaname couldn't even touch her.

What will they do now?

Will they tell or not?

How will Ryoma react to the truth?
