Ryoma's Decision

"Kill me if you want," Ryoma dared her. His eyes are not just red but on fire. Even the chains were binding him, he knows how to fight against a strong vampire now, thanks to what happened to him with Toma Kira. He tried breaking them but when Frances saw what he was doing, she pulled out her silver daggers and struck his shoulders making it bleed. Those daggers can kill a vampire if struck to the heart.

"Be still, Echizen-kun!"

Echizen coughed out some blood and told her, "Tell me your past. Be honest with me."

She faced him, smiled and told him, "I'll tell you, it's only short. Your ancestors loved to change vampires to forget they are vampires. Her father turned my servant back into his human self making him forget about me as his master but when I came along, I don't know why he knows about me. He probably was told by Miyaki's father that he has a romantic past with me but he chose her! Since that day, I set out to find her vampire descendants to kill them but I was surprised that they are humans. They never know that they have vampire blood inside them until I saw you with Kuran Yumiko under the tree while she was drinking your blood and you are attending Cross Academy's Night Class!" She pulled down the daggers to his chest making a 12-inch wounds from his shoulder. "Also, by killing you, I know Kaname will cry like a baby and give me his leadership!" She took them out and left him.

He lowered his head and told her, "Mada mada dane, Frances. Don't underestimate Kaname-sama. He won't give it to you even you successfully kill me."

Echizen's friends, family, the Vampire Hunters and the Vampire Society set out united together that night to rescue Echizen Ryoma from a viscious vampire.

All of them tried their best to look on the possible places Frances hid him. They've been looking every abandoned places in Tokyo.

Tezuka looked at the map of the Vampire Hunter's Society again. That's when he saw an ancient church standing in the center near the river. "That's a possible place, isn't it?" Kaname told him.

"Yes, we've got to look in there," he said.

Momo and the others kept chatting together on how they can fight against Level E vampires if ever they attack at the time they have finally found the real location Echizen is kidnapped.

Rinko kept crying inside their house while Nanjiroh comforts her, and so, Miyaki knew she has to find their son. She decided to help all of the groups that wanted Echizen safe and sound but that night, Tezuka found a abandoned church near a tennis court and wondered why he cannot get in. He touched the gravitational shield and his eyes widened when he felt and knew that it was Echizen's doing. It's taking most of his strength. Also, he went confused. "How can a vampire like him has this kind of power?"

Echizen can be heard screaming with pain because of the pressure he gives himself. His wrists were bleeding intensely now. He cannot allow him to enter.

Frances laughed at him inside the church, "Trying to protect your human friend?"

"Don't touch him!" he screamed. She brought out a new torture weapon and that's the silver bullets. She kept aiming it at Ryoma's legs until he kneel down. Frances left him, laughing evilly.

It wasn't just Tezuka who came but he's with a young, male Vampire Hunter. He didn't even had any problems getting in but it wasn't good for him. Frances appeared in front of them and a battle began.

Tezuka watched him fight against Frances but he lost.

In the end, he got dragged by her. She looked at Tezuka who was just standing there and told him, "I'll just give your friend a meal. He's getting weaker, you know?"

"What do you want from him! Don't use him for murder!" screamed Tezuka but it seemed she didn't listen to him.

She kept dragging the wounded vampire hunter and when she put him in Echizen's dark room and left him alone, Echizen, who was also bleeding tremendously, bound by individual chains of his two wrists and ankles, he had hard time breathing when he sensed blood. He was getting so thirsty for blood and he so wanted to attack him but he restrained himself.

He knew that the young man wasn't a normal person. "You're a vampire hunter, right?"

The young man answered bravely, "Yes."

"Kill me or I might kill you," he said.

"Are you Echizen Ryoma?" he asked.

"Yes. I'm begging you, kill me! KILL ME!!!!" cried Echizen.

"I cannot do that! Everyone's looking out for you!" he said to him.

"I don't want to kill you or drink your blood. Escape. Try to escape by that small window above us," he told him.

The young man thanked him, "Don't worry, Echizen-kun! I will tell everyone where you are!" he told him.

The young man escaped and when Tezuka saw him safe, he quickly asked him, "Have you seen him?"

The brave, young man answered him quick but with anger inside him, "I've seen him! That pureblood Frances is torturing him so much!"

Tezuka stared at the church again, "Why can't you get in? We just have the same age and height!"

"Echizen... protected me," he said.

Frances let them go but because of that, she went really angry with him that she sinked her fangs on Ryoma's neck for five minutes, making him unable to move anymore. Only his lips and eyes are the left ones that can move.

That same night, the young man reported to them what he had seen and heard. "We need to be quick in rescuing Echizen Ryoma! He's getting weaker and if we let him wait more, we might be too late! Frances gave me to him as a meal for him but he let me go. That only means that he's really a vampire already! Frances awakened him!"

Everyone in the warehouse are surprised.

And so, before sunrise, everyone involved in the search decided to save him that same night. But upon coming near the abandoned church, many of them found themselves fighting against a legion of Level Es including the Seigaku Regulars. Kaname, Yumiko and Miyaki fought, too.

"Kaname-san! Yumiko-chan! Miyaki-san! Don't bother here! Go straight where Ryoma is!" Chairman Cross said. He doesn't have his weird glasses anymore and ponytail.

Kaname, Miyaki and Yumiko quickly ran to find him inside the church but when they got inside, they were welcomed by something terrible near the altar.

"Echizen Ryoma!" they all screamed.
