The Red Rose, Yumiko's Secret Weapon

A/N: I am thinking of a new arc rather than epilogues after a few months thinking if I really want to end this story already. Well, it'll only be a short arc, anyway. Took too long to be added... well... as you can see, I have other stories to finish!!! Please do read my D Gray Man fanfic, too! Happy New Year!!!

Ryoma entered his own room and saw Yumiko sitting on his bed. Suddenly, he remembered a rose which Kaname did not allow his master to use against Daisuke.

"Yumiko-sama, haven't you tried using your weapon before? Why did Kaname-sama stopped you to use it?" Ryoma asked Yumiko.

Yumiko giggled and smiled at him. She touched his cheeks and Ryoma blushed. "Yumiko-sama."

"I'll tell you the history of my red rose but we need to go to our classroom today or else my brother would be pissed off!" she ran off towards the door of Ryoma's own room and opened it. "Today is very important, Ryoma."

"Why?" Ryoma asked.

Yumiko felt really pissed off. "Today is the day I turned you as a vampire."

After that, they quickly went outside the building and let themselves feel the fresh air. It had just stopped raining and stars slowly appear in the distance that night at the sky.

"Nostalgic, isn't it? " she was like a lost child dancing outside the Moon Dorm. After a while, she went closer to him and asked Ryoma, "You may also be a noble or a pureblood if only your grandmother weren't turned into a human. Do you regret it?"

Ryoma held her hands and told her, "Iie, Yumiko-sama. I am grateful enough as your servant."

"Can you just stop teasing your servant, Yumiko-chan?" Hanabusa told her. Both were surprised to know that Hanabusa is not yet inside the classroom.

She waved her hands and told him, "Hai, hai!"

Both ran off and entered the Night Class. Ryoma was told that he can't go out of the Moon Dorm every morning just to visit his human friends. It saddened him but he knows that as a former human, living as a vampire now, he needed to accept what he is. As they were listening to their new teacher who's also a noble vampire, he knew he was already forgetting his old days as a human. Not like his human friends, he knows that he can live longer than them and his healing pattern is different than them.

After that long class, all vampires gathered at the living room and celebrated his birth, well, his birth as a vampire. Everyone were holding a cup of melted ice blood.

It is actually lead by Hanabusa Aido and Senri Shiki. They held Ryoma's shoulder and congratulated him to have already recovered from all the problems they had since he was turned into a vampire and survived.

Kuran Kaname just held his head on the couch but his companions don't know that he is smiling. He is very much happy for Ryoma and Yumiko because, after all, they have surpassed a large mass of challenges.

Ryoma thanked all of them after that.

When they were all back in their respective rooms, Yumiko hugged Ryoma and ordered him to suck her blood. Ryoma's eyes turned red and followed her. Yumiko held him tightly and whispered to him, "Aishiteru, Ryoma!"

Ryoma stopped sucking, cleaned his mouth and told her, "Aishiteru desu, Master!!!"

Yumiko held Ryoma's cheeks and sat on his bed again. Ryoma regained himself and said, "Now, would you tell me about that Red Rose that seemed not to rotten?"

Yumiko nodded and said, "Of course, Ryoma." Ryoma sat on his bed and began listening. "As what my brother said, it is too grim if I used my weapon against a human," she began, "It is because it can only be used to attack Level Es, the monsters most vampires don't consider the same as us or other vampires whom I deem as dangerous. It doesn't kill instantly but it'll make the target bleed out until death."

"Can you activate it for me?" Ryoma asked.

"Oh... No... No. I can't activate it if there is no Level E," she told him.

The next night, Ryoma and Yumiko were sent by the Dorm President, Kuran Kaname to eliminate a Level E. Kaien Cross already gave them permission to get out that morning. They were given two guns.

"Nii-san?" called Yumiko.

"Hai?" smiled Kaname.

"Can I use my special weapon?" she told him.

"It's your weapon, Yumiko but you will only use it if it is necessary," he told him.

Yumiko's eyes became very much happy. "Mochiron, aniki!!!!"

After that, they went to town to find the Level E, not knowing that Freia also sent Ryoma's senpais, Oishi, Inui and Kikumaru who accepted their lives to continue as vampire hunters to extinguish the Level Es and for them, to protect Yumiko and Ryoma.

From the farthest corner of the town where there is an abandoned church, a young lad who has short, brown hair and green eyes lives and was bitten by a pureblood who died recently. He was about to say yes to her but learned that she was killed by a young woman.

He witnessed it silently and secretly and he could not accept his master's death. His way of salvation was taken away from him.

He believed that killing her master is unfair and out of options and it's all one-sided. Because he doesn't have a chance to drink her blood, he lost himself and kept killing because of sadness.

Kikumaru found him drinking the blood of an innocent, seven year-old child.

"Aaaahhh," his eyes turned red and fiery, "Now look at what you did there!"

He began firing his gun at him and when that young lad stopped devouring the child, using his acrobatic skills, he prevented himself from the Level E's sudden attack and took the young child who lost most of her blood but can still be saved.

Oishi and Inui came after him and kept firing their guns but because the young lad is just so swift that it can jump high just like Kikumaru, their stock of silver bullets were limited.

The brown-haired boy jumped from atop a building to attack Inui but then, red rose petals appeared like needles and attacked the Level E and pinned him on the wall of the abandoned church.

The three stared where it came from and there, they saw Ryoma and Yumiko. Yumiko is currently holding the stem of the rose on her right hand.

Ryoma smiled and raised his right arm to point the silver gun on the young lad, "Poor Level E, what is your name? I want to know before I kill you using my own hands."

"You!!!" his wrists and legs were wrapped by the rose petals of Yumiko. The stem controls the movement of its petals. "The two of you killed my master!!!!"

"Shut up and answer me! Is Frances your master?" Yumiko asked him.

Inui cleaned his glasses and put it back again on his eyes. He stood up and took back his silver gun to point the gun to him, too. "If you want to survive, tell us!"

"What good will it be for me? I lost my chance to drink her blood!!!! Destroy me, now!!!!" he shouted.

"Then, it's true. You are to become like me but you lost her. Now, you wanted revenge but you are clueless where you'll find us, am I right?" Ryoma asked. Ryoma pointed the gun closer to him.

"Destroy me, now!!!" begged the young lad. "I am nothing but a Level E!!!"

"Answer us or I'll kill you!!!" Kikumaru told him.

The young, green-eyed lad laughed tremendously, "Well, well. Wasn't this a good opportunity for me to spill Frances-sama's secrets before I die? I am warning you, Frances-sama has a servant, loyal to him inside the school. I wonder who it is!!!! Hahaha!!!! Most of all, he is someone close to you, young vampire boy!!! I wonder if you could point the gun to him, too!!!!! He'll soon feel the need of revenge!!!"

In Ryoma's anger, he shot him through the young lad's forehead while saying, "That is impossible!!!!"
