Epilogue

The crowd was packed, people were holding signs with creative puns, foam fingers, drinks, different food products, and cameras trying to record the player introductions that were set to begin soon. It was 7:45 and the game started at 8.

A brown haired young adult laughed as her best friend Dawn came back to her seat. She looked as if she had been mobbed while trying to get back to her seat, May had warned the blue haired girl that if she was going to try to get something to eat she should wait until everything calmed down.

"I thought I was going to die!" Dawn complained as she sat down in her seat.

May continued to laugh as she took in her best friend's appearance. "I warned you, you know how Kanto fans get sometimes."

Dawn nodded in agreement. "Everybody is just excited. It is a big game tonight you know."

May was going to respond, but a tap on her shoulder stopped her. She turned her head only to smile as she saw a beautiful blonde haired woman and handsome green haired man.

"Serena! I suppose I should be surprised to see you here!" May greeted before she turned to the green haired male. "I am a bit surprised to see you though Drew. I thought you were to busy to come." May said.

May resisted the urge to roll her eyes as Drew dramatically moved a piece of hair from his face. "Well I had some free time so there was no reason not to come." Drew said, although May knew that he was probably here for the same reason that everyone else was.

"And of course I'd come! This is the biggest game in both Ash's and Gary's life! I wouldn't miss it for the world!" Serena said as if it were obvious with a smile on her face.

May smiled back. "I agree, but I'm kind of nervous! After all both of them can't win tonight."

A short silence fell over the group. They had knew that eventually they would have to deal with the fact that only one of the two basketball players would be able to win tonight, but it didn't make that fact any less easier.

"Well...Gary is obviously going to win so I guess it makes since that May would be a little nervous." Dawn broke the silence with a show of confidence in her boyfriend.

"I'd put my money on Ash personally." Drew chimed in, having no problem with choosing between the two.

May looked at Serena expecting her to give an opinion. "Who do you think will win Serena?" She asked.

Serena gave a nervous laugh. "Well if I go by the last six games I don't know...Their teams seem evenly matched, but if I had to go with my gut feeling I'd probably go with Ash. Sorry Dawn."

Dawn just gave a fake pout causing everybody including May to laugh.

"I guess that means it's three against one." Dawn said in fake annoyance.

"I didn't even say who I thought was going to win." May said causing everybody to give her a look.

Dawn was the one to voice the majority opinion. "Oh, everybody in the world knows your rooting for Ash." She said.
