Chapter 2 : Puzzles, Ghost and Home

Nishinoya and Sugawara approached the Froggit.

* Ribbit, ribbit.
* (Excuse me, human. I have some advice
for you about battling monsters.)
* (If you ACT in certain way or FIGHT until
you almost defeat them...)
* (They might not want to battle you

* (If a monster does not want to fight you,

* (Use some MERCY, human.)

"Hey, thanks Mysterious Voice! I don't know you can understand Frog language!" Sugawara snickered. Nishinoya and Tanaka hold their laughter. "Wow...Was that a sarcasm, Mr. Refreshing?" A voice whispered. "Heh. Maybe." Sugawara smirked, not realising he was talking to no one.

Hinata and Kageyama entered a room. There was only a bowl full of candy. They approached the bowl. "Ooh! There's so many candy here! How much will we take?" Hinata turn to Kageyama. Kageyama hummed "Since there are five of us, why not five?" "Okay!"

* It says 'Take one'.
* Take a piece of candy?

"Huh? It says take one." Hinata took one candy.

*You took a piece of candy.

Kageyama walked to the bowl.

* Take one.
* Take a piece of candy?

Kageyama took another one without hesitation.

* You took more candy.
* How disgusting.

'OWAAAHH?! THE VOICE ARE TOO BRAVE!!! HOW CAN IT SAY THAT WITHOUT BEING SCARED OF KAGEYAMA'S WRATH?!' Hinata quivered in fear as he feel an ominous aura surround Kageyama. "What. did. you. just. say...?!" Kageyama snarled. The voice laugh, causing Kageyama's eye to twitch. He growled and took more candy. The voice scoffed.

* You took another candy.
* You feel like the scum of the earth.

"HEY!!" Kageyama snapped. Hinata squeaked and stay on the back. "Oi, what the heck is going on here?!" Hinata turned his attention to Sugawara. "T-There!! Kageyama is angry!!" He pointed at the raven haired. Sugawara raised an eyebrow "How? He won't be mad if-" "He tried to take more than one candy." The voice spoke, startling Sugawara and Hinata. "Who's that?? Seriously, who is helping narrating here??" Sugawara questioned. A kid suddenly appears in front of the three of them. "Hello! I am the Mysterious Voice!" The kid pointed at himself. "Huh?! Who the heck?! Who are they and why are they transparent?!" Hinata blurted out question. The kid crossed his arm "I'm a He. My name is Chara. I am one of the fallen human that ever fall down here." Chara introduced himself. "Eh?! So you're dead?!" Hinata exclaimed. Chara nodded his head "You could say that, I guess. Anyway, Mr. Grumpy face right there is trying to take more candies from the bowl." He grinned and pointed at Kageyama. Kageyama scoffed. Sugawara sighed "I see. I apologize for his behavior. Now, Kageyama, You shouldn't take too much candy. Who knows what will the monster think if they found the bowl empty?" He glanced at Kageyama. "....I'm sorry." Kageyama whispered. Chara huffed "Okay, okay. I shouldn't call you that too. So, I too, also apologize for my words." He bowed.

"If you're dead, how can you be here?" Hinata asked. Chara hummed "I'll tell you later. Now we have to continue. I'll be seeing you later!" He waved and disappeared, leaving the three of them dumbfounded. "Uhh...okay, that was something." Sugawara frowned.

"Hey!! Come on, guys!! We've been waiting for you!!!" Nishinoya called the three of them. "Sorry, senpai! We were just taking candies!!" Hinata approached Nishinoya. "Candy?" Tanaka questioned. "Yep. Let's go now." Sugawara replied and invited them.

Ring...

"Hello? This is TORIEL. For no particular reason, which one do you prefer? Cinnamon or butterscotch?" Toriel asked from over the phone. Hinata looked at his friends "Which one?" "I'd choose butterscotch." Said Kageyama. "I choose cinnamon." Sugawara, Nishinoya and Tanaka spoke in unison. Hinata and Kageyama looked at them in surprise. "Uhh...Cinnamon it is, then." Hinata tell Toriel. Toriel hummed "Oh, I see. Thank you very much."
