Chapter 4 : What a SANS-ational condition!

Tanaka, Nishinoya and Hinata shivered at the coldness. Kageyama stretches his body while yawning and Sugawara rubbed his hands. Chara stand in front of them. "Don't worry about getting sick from the cold. Your jacket is thick enough. You'll get used to it!" Chara assured them. "Well, yeah. You're lucky you're a ghost." Said Kageyama sarcastically. Chara laughed. "Say, Mr. Refreshing, why don't ya Check the bushes on your left?" Chara pointed at the bushes. Sugawara checked the bushes. "Eh?! There's a hidden camera in this bushes. Who's watching us???" He turn at them. The other looks surprised while Chara smirk. "Don't worry, the one watching you from that camera aren't dangerous at all. The one watching from the dark right now is probably the one you should be scared about. I'll see you later." He waved and disappeared. They shivered at his words and decided to continue walking.

The five of them walked through the forest. When they saw a branch, they ignored it and walked over it. Then,

Crack!

They flinched and turn their attention back to the branch. It's been smashed like it was nothing. They speed up their walking as they feel someone following them. They reach the bridge and stop. The footsteps is getting louder and louder. They prayed they won't be attacked by a dangerous animal or monster. Then, a deep voice spoke up :

"h u m a n. d o n ' t  y o u  k n o w  h o w  t o
  g r e e t  a  n e w  p a l? t u r n  a r o u n d
  a n d  s h a k e  m y  h a n d."

Hinata turn around while closing his eyes. He stretched out his hand to shake the mysterious man's hand. He feel his heart beating fast.

Pbbbbbbfffftttt....

Hinata open his eyes in surprise. He was disbelief of what he saw right now. The other also turn around after hearing such a sound. A small skeleton wearing a blue jacket and a sweater stand in front of them with a smile on his face. He laughed "heheh...the old whoope cushion in the hand trick. it's ALWAYS funny. anyway, you guys are a human, right? that's hilarious." The group looked at him dumbfounded. The skeleton wink "i'm sans. sans the skeleton. i'm actually supposed to be on watch for humans right now. but...y'know...i don't really care about capturing anybody." Sans introduced himself. 'Did he talk in lowercase?' The group looked at each other. 'seems like it.' Kageyama replied. Sans ignored their telepathic conversation and continues "now my brother, papyrus, he's a human-hunting FANATIC." Sans emphasized his words. "So...your brother will try to capture us?" Kageyama asked. Sans nodded "pretty much. hey, i think that's him over there." He pointed at behind them. Papyrus can seen walking in the forest. "i have an idea. go through this gate thingy." Hinata furrowed his eyebrows "Gate...thingy?" "yeah. go right through. my bro made the bars too wide to stop anyone."

The six of them arrived at a field with a station and five lamps. "quick, behind that conveniently-shaped lamps." They think for a bit before hiding behind the lamp. How can such a lamp has the same shape and height with them?

Not long after hiding, Papyrus enters the scene. "sup, bro?" Sans greeted his brother. "YOU KNOW WHAT 'SUP' BROTHER!!! IT'S BEEN EIGHT DAYS AND YOU STILL HAVEN'T...RECALIBRATED YOUR PUZZLES! YOU JUST HANG AROUND OUTSIDE YOUR STATION! WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING?!?" Papyrus' scolded him in a loud voice. 'He's so loud. Lucky Tsukishima wasn't here...' Sugawara sighed. Sans let out a chuckle "staring at this lamps. it's really cool. do you wanna look?" Papyrus growled and stomped his feet on the ground "NO!! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT!!! WHAT IF A HUMAN COMES THROUGH HERE!?! I MUST BE READY!!! I MUST BE THE ONE! I WILL BE THE ONE! I MUST CAPTURE A HUMAN!" He stopped stomping and posed flamboyantly. His red scarf flow with the mysterious wind. "THEN, I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS...WILL GET THE THINGS I UTTERLY DESERVE! RESPECT...RECOGNITION...I WILL BE ABLE TO FINALLY JOIN THE ROYAL GUARD! PEOPLE WILL ASK...TO BE...MY 'FRIEND?'. I WILL BATHE OF KISSES EVERY MORNING." Papyrus imagined what it's like to have so many friends. He seems very confident for a skeleton. "maybe this lamp will help you." Sans hummed. Papyrus can be heard stomping his feet again. "He's like Nishinoya..." Sugawara whispered. Nishinoya turn his head at him and laughed.
