Chapter 8 : Waterfall and The Talking Flower

"Hey Kageyama, how's your stomach?" Sugawara asked with a concern in his voice. Kageyama patted his stomach. "I'm alright. I didn't take that much bite from it." He answered with a straight face. "At least be more concerned about yourself. Don't put on a straight face like that." Sugawara sighed. Kageyama looks at him in confusion. "Why?" Sugawara open his mouth to answer, but shut it again and shakes his head.

They arrived at another one of Sans' sentry station. Sans is sitting there, his chin leaning on his hand. There are also two more monsters. "Yo!! Are you guys here to see Undyne too!?" Monsters Kid asked in excitement. "Who's Undyne?" Tanaka, Nishinoya and Hinata asked in unison. "Apparently, Undyne is one of The Royal Guards Papyrus was talking about." Sugawara explained to them. then, he looked at Monster Kid. "If you don't mind us asking, what does Undyne looks like?" Monster Kid hummed then smiled widely. "Ohh!!! She's like THE COOLEST PERSON you would ever meet, dude!!! Like, She's a Fish with a spear!!! She can lift a whole bench, too!!!" Monster kid explained with so much excitement. 'Hinata number 2??' Kageyama furrowed his eyebrows. Sugawara who notice it smirked. "Heh, you must be thinking he's like Hinata, right?" Kageyama stared at him in surprise "Ar-" "Nope. I'm not a mind reader. You're just always too obvious when thinking about something, Kageyama..." Kageyama pouted and looked away. They walked to the orange fish(?). "This is an echo flower. It repeats the last thing it heard over and over..." Tanaka stared at the blue glowing flower. He touches it.

Hinata's eyes sparkled, and a big smile formed in his face. "Then, I wish to be like The Small Giant!!" He said to the flower. Nishinoya and Tanaka looks at him in pride. Kageyama internally smile and Sugawara is trying to not blush from the preciousness. Hinata touches the flower "Then, I wish to be like The Small Giant!!" It repeated his words. Hinata is satisfied.

Kageyama shakes his head. "and...?" Tanaka hang his word. Sans looked away "fortunately, two jobs means twice as legally-required breaks. i'm going to grillby's. wanna come?" Sans offered them. "...You just liked slacking off work, aren't you?" Sugawara squint his eyes. Sans chuckled "i don't like tiring myself up. well? does any of you want to or...You're busy?" Hinata raises his hand. "Me, me!! I know you guys wanted to looks around for a bit!! Don't worry, I'll catch up to you!!" Hinata smiled. "Well, we'll be waiting at the nearest place possible." Nishinoya tapped Hinata's shoulder. Hinata nodded. "Let's go, Sans!!" Sans nodded "well. if you insist...i'll pry myself away from my work...over here. i know a shortcut." He walked to the right with Hinata. Sans snapped his fingers and they disappeared in blue light. "Ah, yes, teleportation." Nishinoya mumbled.

GRILLBY'S

The both of them arrived at the bar. "fast shortcut, huh?" Sans put his hand back in his pocket. Hinata observed his surroundings. A bar full of Monsters...and dogs. "hey, everyone." Sans greeted. The other monsters greeted him back. "Hey Sans, weren't you just here for breakfast a few minutes ago?" The blob fish monster asked, not bothering to change its position. Sans looks away "nah, i haven't had breakfast in at least half an hour. you must be thinking of brunch." The whole bars filled with laughter from Sans' terrible pun. "here, get comfy." He pointed at the seat on the left. They both sit on the stool until...
