Chapter 7

"Ay bakla!"

"Anong sabi mo?!" his fierce expression welcomes me as he opens the door, and heard what I said all of a sudden.

Ngayong magkaharap na kami ay agad ako'ng kinain ng kahihiyan at nangatog ang aking mga tuhod. Hindi ko pala siya kayang harapin ngayon masyadong malaking kahihiyan ang ginawa ko kagabi.

"Ay Bakla, maling office!" I shouted, sakto may dumaang co-employee ko sa marketing dept na lalake, he glances at me with confusion all over his face. Syempre tawagin ko ba naman siya'ng bakla.

I quickly turn around and wave at him, ignoring this man behind me. "Bakla di mo sinabi mali na naman ako ng office na kakatukan" I said and run to him, agad ko'ng pinalupot sa kanyang braso ang aking mga kamay at ngumiti na lamang.

"Anong ginagawa mo?" he asks with disbelief.

"Sumekeykeneleng" I urge a wide bright smile while whispering it to him. He glances at my back, so I started pulling him away.

"Tara na gurl, may dala ako'ng foodang" I said loudly and pull him.

"Tsk," I heard a haze from the back, that's why I felt more nervous, kaya mas binilisan ko ang paghila sa kasama ko.

Pagpasok na'min sa office ng Marketing department agad ko siya'ng binitawan at ngumiti sa kanya, "Salamat ah, niligtas mo ako" I said and wipe the cold sweat on my forehead. Grabe ang kaba ko don' ah.

"Sige" he awkwardly said and walk back to his place, as he turns around, I quickly facepalm myself. "Ano bang ginagawa mo Aberry?" I whisper to myself.

"Aberry, are you ok?" agad ako'ng nilapitan at tinapik ni Sienna ng makita ako'ng nakatayo sa pinto.

"Ah ok lang ako, sya nga pala may dala ako'ng pagkain para sa'tin" I said.

She smiles and says, "Really wow, you made it?" she said as we both walk to our tables.

"Oo tinuruan ako ni mama," I said and I fix the papers above my table so that I can start working on the market papers for the day.

I saw her open the paper bag on her table and check out what's inside. "Wow, they are so cute," she said while opening the bento box.

Her eyes glimmer with sparkles as she stared at the food, I bring. "You're good at this," she said while observing the food I bring.

Napakamot na lang ako ng aking batok at sinilip ang isa pang paper bag na para kay Sir Finance Manager. Hindi ko naibigay, I shook my head and rest my head on the swivel chair.

"Ok, I'll put it here, and let's eat this on our lunch break. Ok," Sienna genuinely smiles at me while putting the paper bag on the other side of her table.

I smile at her and nodded, we start working for the viewing of the commercial for this day and it took us the whole day so we both decided to eat inside of the office instead of going down to the cafeteria.

Buti na lang nagdala ako ng pagkain, hindi na na'min kailangan bumili pa at gumastos ngayo'ng lunch.

"Wow this is so yummy, Aberry what do you call this?" tanong ni Sienna habang nakaupo sa harap ng table niya, at ako naman ay patuloy pa'rin sa pagtatrabaho habang ngumunguya.

"Castella ang tawag dyan sa japan pero custard cake sa America," I said, still focusing on what I'm doing.

"Can you teach me how to make this, I wanna make one for Gun" she said.

This time I glance at her and nodded, "Oo naman" I said.

She smiles and nodded, we continue eating and working at the same time. Exact 3:30 pm ay malakas na bumukas ang pinto ng opisina na umagaw ng atensyon nami'ng dalawa ni Sienna.
