Beginning

"It's Rever Marquis Castellanos' third birthday!" i cheered when i saw my son excitedly ran towards me, kakagising niya lang at magulo pa iyong buhok. He rubbed his eyes and chuckled when i carried him in my arms.

Maaga kong inasikaso ang maliit na children's party sa bahay. I decorated it like how my son wanted. I hanged his favorite hero characters too!

Mamaya pa ang party pero gumising ako ng maaga para maihanda na ang lahat bago dumating sila mommy.

I kissed my son's cheeks and hugged him tighter. "Happy birthday, baby."
I whispered on his ear and tickled him when i heard him giggling.

"Gramma will be home today, mommy?" he exclaimed excitedly. Bumibisita sila mom dito pag hindi masyadong abala sa negosyo. We make sure to atleast celebrate the holidays together as a family.

"Yes, baby." i chuckled and put him down on his chair so we can start eating breakfast.

"We better hurry up so we can prepare before gramma arrives!" i laughed at him, he looked so excited everytime my parents is coming back here in Australia.

I am finally graduating next month! I survived being a student while taking care of my son with the help of my parents. There are times when Mom stayed with me for a month so i can start going back to college. Naisipan ko namang kumuha ng nanny para may kasama si Rever habang kailangan kong pumunta sa University.

My parents still didn't know the name of my son's father. Hindi na ako nag-aksaya pa ng panahon para ikwento sa kanila. I feel like it's not that important. He's just a stranger.

He never treated us as part of his life.

I've decided to erase him from the picture. Hindi ko naman kailangan ang pera niya kaya ko namang buhay ang anak ng mag-isa.

We celebrated my son's birthday with some of my friends here in Australia.
It's just a simple lunch. Kaonti lang naman ang naging kaibigan ko dito, isa na dun ang kapatid ni Cici.
Umuwi din pagkatapos ang mga bisita dahil may mga trabaho pa silang kailangan balikan.

Iba sa pilipinas, dito masyadong abala ang mga tao sa paghahanap-buhay at sa career.

"You promised to come home after you graduate." seryosong sabi ni mom. Matagal na nila akong gustong umuwi sa Isla. Hindi nila naiintindihan kung bakit mas pinili kong mag-tiis dito at buhayin ang anak na mag-isa.

"Uuwi na, mom." i sighed and smiled tightly at her.

"We cant wait to have you back home, dear. Your brother will love to meet Rever." napangiti naman ako nang naalala ang kapatid. He is just a month older than my son. Hindi nga ako nakasama birthday niya. Mahirap kasing lumabas ng ibang bansa na may kasamang toddler, masyadong nakakapagod.

Umuwi ako ng Pilipinas ngunit bumalik din pagkatapos ng dalawang araw. May kailangan lang ayusin sa condo at ibang mga important papers. Sinundo naman ako ni Vale sa airport at kumain lang kami sa isang restaurant. Nalaman ko lang nang unuwi ako sa Manila na sila na pala ni Cici.

"I'm sleepy, mommy." my son yawn, nasa Manila na kami. Gabi na nang nagland kami sa Pilipinas. We stayed in the hotel near the airport, bukas ay lilipad din kami agad papunta sa Isla El Ciélo.

My condo is already sold, binenta ko na rin ang lahat ng mga gamit na naiwan sa condo.

"Dont worry, baby. Just sleep, okay? Mommy will just carry you in my arms when we'll arrive at the hotel." i softly caress my son's face.
