Family bonding

"I'm glad you came, Hija!" Pumasok na ako sa lobby ng hotel. We're at the beach resort right now. Tita Ellen never stopped calling me until i said yes to her invitation. Mom will be here later, medyo late kasi iyong nakuha niyang flight papunta dito sa Manila kasi may inasikaso pa sa Isla.

One of the staff assisted me with my luggage when i came in. Agad naman akong niyakap ni Tita.

"Mom will arrive before dinner po, Tita." i answered to her question and smiled tightly. We arrived too early kaya naghintay pa kami ng ilang minuto bago makapasok sa mga sarili naming villa.

You saw mom? I am still in the meeting. I'll be there after an hour.

I got a message from him. It's been a week since we talked about us in my condo. Naging abala din ako sa pag-aaral kaya hindi na ako nakalabas pa. He's busy with work too.

So far he is good and he treats me well. Hindi ko alam kung dahil ba sa age gap naming dalawa? He's older and mature than me. He usually visits me in my condo at night after his work. Hindi na ako naghahanda ng dinner pag nandyan siya since he already prepared or bought a dinner for us.

Yep! We're still waiting in the lobby.

Inabala ko nalang ang sarili sa social media. I checked my cousin's account too pero walang bago. It is still a picture of him and Kindle. Nothing has changed. I didn't asked him about it but i believed that they really broke up.

"My son will be here, Hija. I am so sorry he cant make it on time he is just so busy with work lately." nagaalala namang tingin ni Tita saakin. I chuckled shyly and nod at her. Hindi naman issue saakin iyon pero sinabayan ko nalang si Tita baka isipin niya pa na inaapi ko iyong unico hijo niya.

"Do you think he already got a girlfriend? He's always out! He doesn't come home anymore." i gasped when she softly whispered on my ear as if it is our secret. Her eyes was on me the whole time.

"Po?" i innocently asked.

"He's not in his condo too." she whispered again.

"You're friends with him, right? Did he tell you something?" she asked. Gusto pa ng mom niya na maging whistleblower ako! She didn't even know that her unico hijo was with me every night! I just flashed her my smile and shrug my shoulders. I dont want to talk. Less talk, less mistakes.

I badly want to roll my eyes. This asshole! Hindi man lang nag-iingat!
My phone beeped again.

I miss you.

I am so glad that we're in a separate villa. Medyo may kalayuan din ang pagitan ng ibang Villa kaya kailangan pa ng ilang lakad para pumunta kina mom. It is still two in the afternoon kaya pagkatapos kong magbihis ay pumunta muna ako sa restaurant.

I wore a bikini under my flowy white dress. Tita decided to rest for awhile and asked me to wake her up before dinner.

"One mango shake, please?" umupo na ako malapit sa bar and relaxed myself. Maganda ang tanawin dito at mas pribado. It is an exclusive resort.
"Thank you." i smiled at the waiter after he served my order.

I recieved a call from mom. She's already at the airport at naghihintay na sa gate. Isang oras lang naman papunta dito sa Manila. She texted Tita and asked to pick her up from the airport.
