Palutena time!

Why are they called this?

Place: Palutena's temple. (Kitchen place)

-The story begins now-

Today was like any other day. "Pit, could you go and buy me a few ingredients?" Palutena asked the Angel of Light. "Sure Lady Palutena! Anything!" And with that he ran off.

"Uh.. Pit? Pit! Come back! You forgot the list!" Palutena ran out only to be greeted by Pit once again. "Sorry! I completely forgot..! Haha..." Smiling, the goddess patted the boys hair, "it's alright Pit! Now hurry along. I need these ingredients by 3!"

But what didn't go according to plan was that Pit didn't leave. Staring at the list in front of him, he then looked at his goddess, "Lady Palutena.. Why do you need all these stuff?"

List of things to buy.
-Sweet Potatoes
-Hot Dog
-Dumplings
-Jelly Babies
-Cheeseburger

"Oh, Pit! You needn't worry! The goddess knows exactly what she's doing!" She had a high proud smile with her finger in the air.

"Before I go, Lady Palutena... Could I ask...?" Pit turned his focus back onto the sheet. "What is it Pit?" She questioned the confused boy.

"Why do they call a sweet potato... Sweet potato?"

Palutena blinked a few times before smiling, "Well, it's because they're sweet! Unlike ordinary potatoes, these sweet potatoes would usually leave a soft sweet sensation in your mouth."

"Alright then.. Why do they call a hot dog a hot dog? I mean, hot dogs aren't dogs.. Right?"

Palutena sighed, "No Pit. Hot dogs are not actually dogs. Maybe it's because.. The person who had made them could not think of anything else to call it! And some how.. Dog came into their minds?"

This only caused the little angel confusion as he raised a brow, "A-Alright then... How about dumplings? They're not really dumped... Yeah.. You know..."

Palutena had now grown a little impatient, "Maybe it's because the people who made it felt like calling it that! Now, if you don't mind Pit! I'd love to get those ingredients!"

Pit nodded before walking out of the door.

Until...

"How about Jelly babies? It's not real babies.. Right?! Or cheeseburgers?! They're not completely filled with cheese at all!"

Palutena face palmed.

"Oh boy.."
