Lethargic of the heated night, you didn't move, staring blankly at the ceiling, listening closely to the breathing of the one next to you; whose body shaped the mattress with time. With certain hesitation, you leaned in closer and embraced his sleeping stature. Once asleep he looked innocent, gentle; an illusion hiding the dark light that could appear in his eyes once they were opened.

He stiffened at your sudden embrace. "What are you doing?" He asked sleepily.

"Sorry, " you whispered as you lift yourself with your elbow to move away. However, this gesture was stopped by a strong grip on your wrist. "I didn't tell you to go away." You hid your face in his chest and only once you were hidden you allowed a smile to emerge as if you were too scared to show him. Would it startle him to see you smile just like that? Would it make him uncomfortable? You had still so many questions about the man, your husband. The truth was you hardly know him: he was an inscrutable individual. Or maybe you didn't want to know too much because you knew there was hardly any good to learn about. The smile disappeared bitterly. Sometimes you hated your sense of morality. You broke the embrace under a weird-looking frown of the still half asleep prince. However, he didn't say a thing. You were grateful for that. You sat on the edge of your side of the huge green bed and stretched slightly before kneeling down and quickly putting on your pyjama back on before getting up and walking towards the bathroom, yawning.

Yonji didn't say a thing and so naturally you thought he fall back asleep. Little did you know he waited for you on the sofa with some slack clothes on. "You couldn't fall back asleep?" He hummed and incomprehensible negation or affirmation as his hair caressed his shoulders as he rested his right cheek on his fist. "My father wanted to talk to me yesterday. He wasn't really happy..."

You rolled your eyes. "What have I done?"

"It's not just you." You frowned, uncertain to get the main idea. "Get to the point, will you?" He sighed. "He growing impatient about the blood link between our two families..." A child...You giggled bitterly. "Like we control that! Even if we could..."

"That's what they expect from us you know?"

"No really? You declared sarcastically. I thought this wedding was all about sitting and staring at each other in silence!" You concluded. Exasperated you walked in the room back and forth, thinking back to what your mother told you before you left Aogu. She did insist on the blood link, a child... "I'm going out, " you mumbled angrily as you walked towards the door. "The breeze is crazy-"

"Crazy cold this early in the morning? I know, I don't care." You sighed as you shook your head. "Try to go back to sleep, a bit of fresh air will only help me..." On that you left the bedroom.

"Fiery girl, " he mumbled.

You felt awful. Nauseous, dizzy and unable to focus even on the easiest thing. When Niji commented on how bad you looked you genuinely didn't care the slightest; you didn't have the energy to. So exhausted you barely noticed how Reiju looked at you the whole time, worried.

When Cosette intercepted you in the hallway later when you were going to supervise the soldier's training, noting how "absent" you looked and acted, visibly disturbed by your state just like the kind girl she is, but you refused.

You shouldn't have.

You supervised the troops and ordered them around with poor vigour which naturally startled them; you were quite awful with them usually, yelling orders and staring down at each one of them. Today, you stood at the same spot, breathing heavily from time to time.

After a moment, a Type-WB walked towards you with a certain hesitation written on her face with each step she makes. "(Y/n)-sama, she began politely, it may be preferable for you to go get some rest, don't you agree?" Queasy as you were, you couldn't find the vitality to contradict the soldier. "Maybe I should. I will go to my room..." You started to walk away. "I will escort you."

"Oh no, please, don't mind."

"I insist."

"No really."

"I must insist." You grimaced at her stubbornness but what she said after justified everything. "If something happens to you and they learn none of us did anything we will be in serious problems." You sighed. "You may escort me..." You staggered away as she followed. After a minute or two you felt a spasm in your stomach growing more and more to then reach your throat. Before you knew you were puking on the grass. "Ew..." I HEARD YOU!

Once your vomiting episode was finished the Type-WB spoke up. "When did you have your last periods?" You looked at her, stunned. "I...excuse me...?" She didn't say a word and kept looking at you. "I don't know, " you said, "I never really look after my regularity." She looked down, thinking. "It was just a matter of time (y/n)-sama." She concluded. "What? What was just a matter of time?"

"It is a possibility that you could be pregnant." This hit you harder than a sledgehammer could. "Shut up will you!? I don't want this...Guess...now...but guess what, life sucks! It could...wait...Yes, it could!" The poor woman could simply nod at your nasty gibberish, she knew it was safer for her to stay quiet. "And...and...nothing says it's necessarily because of...that!" You added as you hurriedly cleaned your mouth. She nodded. "If this is what you wish to believe..."She took a short break before adding anything else to her statement. "Should we tell Yonji-sama you're feeling sick?"

"Are you nuts!? NO!" The soldier's eyes widen at your abrupt panic. "He...He doesn't need to know right now...does he?"

"I follow orders (y/n)-sama."

"Then don't say a thing...Not yet. Please."

It had to happen a day or another I assume...

You felt it deep down, you knew you couldn't escape. That's when, for the first, you deliberately stared at the tomb of the queen. I need to know. No way I will carry a killing machine!
