╚═══*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*═══╝Dipping the pen in the ink, you wrote words, sentences, paragraphs, the smell of the ocean entering the room. Some classical music is in the background for the delight of your ears. Once the last dot was made you sighed as you put down the pen. You sank yourself in the chair as you folded the paper in four. "Done." You slid it inside an envelope to then seal. That's when the odour of bear became heavier. Yonji was standing right beside you, his almost empty mug in hand. He laid his remaining hand on your shoulder. It was surprisingly comforting. "Can I count on the fact you won't desert supper tonight?"
You were indeed known for your remarkable absence. You felt stifled, oppressed in this room with them all. You did everything to miss the meals as much as you could for the last year. It was a miracle Judge never grew mad at it but you really couldn't care less: it suited you to be left alone. However, Yonji's request was justified.
You hold the hand he put on your frail shoulderas you grinned. "I will be there." He intertwined your hands together. "Yonji," you started. "I overheard that your father talked with you and your sister today. Is it something I have to be concerned about?"
"Why would it be?"
"If it's a mission, I'll have to go in the bedroom in your brother's tower."
"Fair point, but it's nothing like that. Don't mind it. Anyway, I have to go. I told my brothers I'd meet up with them."
You nodded. This turn of events suited you. You wanted to speak to Reiju. She was different from her brothers and as the first child, she knows more than her siblings. you were desperate for the tiniest sign of hope.
"Have fun."
He left. You followed soon after, the letter on hand.

Some time later
(Timeskip)
★。/|\。★You strolled down the colg grey halls of the castle searching for a servant. When you finally spotted one, you called out to them. You offered him the envelope. "Can I request you to make sure this letter reaches my family?" He nodded. "Oh and, do you happen to know where Reiju is at the moment?"
"I'm afraid I don't. My apologies."
"I see thank you." You walked away before the man called out to you. "I think I saw her in her tower earlier."
You waved as to signal you got the message. You were now heading towards your sister-in-law's quarters. Loner and discreet as she was, she was most likely in her balcony, savouring a warm drink. That was probably why you hesitated to knock on her bedroom door; her secret garden. So why did you knock? Why did the first words that escaped your mouth were "I'm pregnant" the moment you sat next to her on her balcony? Why didn't she judge you by now? What have you done to deserve such a golden listener?
"Congratulations," she said.
You sighed.
"It was a question of time, (y/n)," she added.
