The unsightly singing of seagulls and the warmth of the morning sunbeam drew you from Morpheus's arms. As you stretched yourself you felt no presence by your side. You looked to confirm your impression to face that they were indeed right. All your eyes saw on the other side of the mattress was creased bedding. There was no sign of your lover in the room and the heavy silence was only occupied with sparing sounds from outside. He's training. You sat down on the bed, slipping your shaky fingers in your (h/l) (h/c). Your stomach grumbled and it echoed up to your throat. You were terribly nauseous as would be a recently impregnated woman. After your very lovely daily dose of morning sickness, you prepared yourself for a good bath.

Not bothering to tie up your hair, you left yourself sinking in the hot water, eyes closed as your (h/c) floated around you. Your body was openly embracing this situation but your mind was elsewhere. Your deep (e/c) eyes fell upon the dark ceramic on the walls. Self-control was the main tool to survive within those walls as dark and icy as the heart of the patriarch. You were certainly worthless if you couldn't be of any use. Here and there. No one gave you any credit as a person. You were always a tool. "You both are finally accomplishing your duty." Your entire existence turned around this so-called duty. The one thing that always made you despise marriage and reject one man after another until you got cornered by Germa. You sold yourself to save families you know nothing of other than they lived under Aogu's flag.

"Better stop depressing," you mumbled as you left the bathtub. Once all dressed up, you exited the bedroom and went to supervise the soldiers. Walking back and forth as your scrutinizing eyes were permanently stuck upon every move of the mere tools of the kingdom, you enjoyed the warm breeze kissing your entire body under the rising sun. The wet tips of your hair were loving against your shoulder, wetting the delicate tissue of your dress. Loose, light, its colour indicated to which son you shall be associated with.

You heard footsteps in the wet grass. You sensed a gloved hand loving against the skin of your neck, your humid hair kissing your cheeks.

"What are you doing out here?"

"My duty, Yonji," you asserted. "The one your father gave me. I shall keep accomplishing it as long as he doesn't say otherwise."

"Alright," he said. He must have got that you weren't in any mood to argue about such a trivial matter. "Anyway," he continued, "you received a letter from your brother," he informed you as he offered you the immaculate envelope. "I don't get why you all decided to not use transponder snail."

You grabbed it. "We're weird, so what?" You opened it?

My dear sister,
As the heir to the throne of Aogu, I am writing to you on the behalf of our royal family. I shall first congrats you for your pregnancy. The (l/n) family shall expand once more. To celebrate the great news, we shall meet in family. Yours and our sisters.

I shall insist on yours. Our people showed concern toward your affiliation to the Vinsmoke since you left. To reassure them we shall show that our relationship is a great one.

I am looking forward to see you.

(b/n) (l/n)

"Do we really have to go?", you complained out loud.

"Huh?"

"We're all invited to meet with the rest of my siblings's families at Aogu. He says it would appease our people to see for themselves that we are their allies. Some of the citizens still feel very uncomfortable on this matter. It is quite justified. Your family is feared."

"We should go. It wouldn't been seen with a great eye if we refused."

"Who are you and what have you done to my husband?"

He chuckled as you tried your very best to hide your anxiety.

P.s: We must discuss together an important matter in private and shall afterward share the matter with the others.

This book is cringe but I don't give a damn anymore.

P.s: there shouldn't be many chapters left. For real this time.

I think.
