***Alex's P.O.V.***

My locker goes through the same phases every single day. First, it's in the same mess I left it in the day before. Then I tidy it up when I come to school.  Over the day I usually have no time to keep it in check, but instead, just throw stuff inside without order. Then I clean it up on lunch break, but more classes bring more mess. At the end of the school day, I have to go to the practice and my locker it left in chaos till the next day.

Kinda like my brain. It gets messed up in school, I'm telling you. And all this drama is not helping.

So now it's about 10 minutes before the first class starts and I'm cleaning up my locker. Nick leans on the locker next to me, startling me so much that I dropped the papers in my hands. Groaning I start picking them up. He chuckles.

"What do you want?"-I said getting back up and glaring at him.

"I remembered someone owes me some digits."

"IQ results didn't come back? Oh, sweety, I wouldn't hold my breath on that."-I said, mockingly squeezing his arm.

"How lucky I am to have such a compassionate step sister."-he said rolling his eyes. I smirked and got back to my locker. "Rebekah's number."

"You want to know her IQ? Don't worry, she's not smarter than you."

"Why must you do this? Can't you just answer a question like a normal person?"-he said as his hand went through his hair. He was frustrated. I smiled and said: "I could. But this is much more fun."

I look around the hall only to find Dex and his girlfriend Eva laughing. That must be her locker. I'm a lucky girl indeed.

"Did you get her phone number?"-he said crossing his arms. I looked back at him and sighed. I took peace of paper from my back pocket and was about to give it to him when I saw a familiar figure in the distance. I froze. I could sense that he took the paper but I was too shocked to look away from her.

She's standing by the door talking to Victoria and some girl I didn't know. She looked the same as before she left. I clenched my fists, completely forgetting about the mess in my locker. Nick followed my gaze and said: "Now I want her number."

And that was it. One sentence to turn on the time bomb. He doesn't know. You can't yell at him. He doesn't know. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see him turning to me and whistling. "Don't you look ready to kill?"

"Just take the number and leave."-I said closing my locker. My voice was so flat that it even scared me.

"What's going..."-he started but I just push past him and start walking to her. Not a couple of steps later Dexter cuts me off. I try stepping around him but he just keeps blocking my path.

"Move."-I said my voice still low and even.

"No"

"Go back to your girlfriend Dexter. This is none of your business."

"This is exactly my business."

"Dexter move or I swear to God you will regret it."-I said trying not to lash out at him too much. He didn't seem bothered by my threat. Instead, he grabbed my arm and dragged me to the nearest classroom. He pushed me in and said: "Bring J here."-to someone before closing the door, leaving us alone in the classroom.

"I don't have time for this."

"No. You don't have time to get into the fights that could get you expelled."

"If you don't move we will no longer be friends."

"You don't mean that. Just calm down."

"Calm down? Calm down? How can you say that? She can't just come back here and expect me to be jumping around here like a happy puppy."-I said clenching my fists so hard, my nails dig into my skin.
