The Waterbender in New York

Katara O'Neil

Third Person POV  

The next day at the hospital , Mr. O'Neil came straight after work to check on Katara to see if she's doing better. After he made it to the area where Katara's room is, the doctor comes out of his office and greets him. "Hello Mr. O'Neil." "Hello Dr. Smith.....how is she?" "She's been doing well on recovering and as you already know. The poor girl has amnesia although we're not quite sure yet if it's temporary or permanent." The doctor explained to him on Katara's condition. 

"Although there is also something odd about her." Dr. Smith tells Kirby. "What is it?" Mr. O'Neil then asks him. "When I was looking for her medical files, the computer says that there's no data on her." The doctor him while they're both walking to his office.

"Do you at least have her name?" He ask Dr. Smith. "Nurse Amber was the one who got her name   actually." He said with a bit of hope in his voice. "What's her name?" "Katara" The doctor tells Mr. O'Neil. "Katara......that is a  beautiful name" Kirby says while him and the doctor walked into his office. 

Once they did, him and Dr. Smith sat down as he got on his computer to look for any type of medical file on Katara. After another attempt failed the doctor started to have doubts that any data on Katara ever existed heck, he started to think that Katara isn't her actual name. 

"I'm sorry Mr. O'Neil , but I can't find any medical record on this girl that you brought here." "But that's impossible." "I'm afraid it is Mr. O'Neil. It seems there is no data on this girl onl-" before the doctor could say anything else. The nurse (Ms. Amber) who is tending to Katara bursts into the office with a surprised , but tired look probably from running all the way from Katara's room to the doctor's office in such a hurry. 

"D-Doctor....You have to come to Room 106 right now sir." She tells him while she's catching her breath. "What's wrong nurse Amber?" Dr. Smith asks her as he and Mr. O'Neil stood up from their seats. 

"She.....remembered something." The nurse tells them as she stood straight. Their reactions were of shock as they rushed to the room where Katara is staying at.

Katara's POV 

'What was I thinking...telling her that I remember right out of the blue?' I thought while I was trying to calm down my anxious heart that was beating really fast at the moment due to fear of the current situation. 

'Come on Katara think...you gotta at least think of something convincing and realistic to tell them...well at least something that wouldn't be considered crazy to them.' As I kept on thinking about what I should say, I jumped when the door burst open with the doctor as well a slightly middle aged man with (receded) red hair as well a beard was behind him.
