Leo's POV

"You were all very lucky" Master Splinter told us with a calm tone. My brothers and I felt humbled yet guilty , due to the fact that our overconfidence almost got us killed from our very first encounter with Sensei's mortal enemy. The mission we were on was supposed to be a rescue mission...to rescue April's dad to be more specific.

It all started when April was being chased by a mutant pigeon...that's right the mutant this time was a pigeon. Once we caught the mutant, we started interrogating him to see if he was an assassin, but this time it was actually the total opposite. When he told us that he is actually the messenger and what surprised us even more that we had a new lead for Mr. O'Neil, when Pete (Yes that's his name) gave the message for April from her dad warning her that she and two other girls he mentions named Katara and Delilah , (who I assume are friends or relatives to the O'Neils)...need to leave the city. Despite Mr. O'Neil's warning , April refused to leave the city without her dad, we tracked down the location to where Mr. O'Neil was being kept by the Kraang. Only... that is when things went south REAL fast.

In the beginning things were going smooth ,until a few Kraang droids had spotted us. We were then surrounded by more droids after they had called backup, after we'd busted April's father out of the cell he was being kept in. Luckily all of us were close enough to the opening of a ceiling we originally entered with April holding unto a rope, for us to climb up. Just as we were about to escape the kraang were corralling us and most plausibly capture us. We thought it was the end us , but then Mr. O'Neil sacrifices himself to buy us time to stop the Kraang from turning the city and the people that live here into mutants, by setting off a giant bomb filled with gallons of mutagen....from what he had told us. With upmost reluctance we left the warehouse and escaped looking for the kraang and where they had planted the bomb, there was only one problem...April's dad didn't exactly given us the info on where the bomb was located at.

We were practically on a wild goose chase throughout almost the entire uptown part of New York. Until Michelangelo had found a note that showed where the bomb's location is , as well our suspicions being confirmed when we saw the familiar initials of Night Watcher. We were able to diffuse the bomb just in time, but we received an unexpected encounter from Bradford and Xever. All four of us thought it was over after we'd beaten them, but then the very man who is considered Master Splinter's mortal enemy appeared....the Shredder.

He was fast like the wind and his moves were so precise like a Kunai hitting its mark, I thought we were gonna die at that very moment. Fortunately, luck happened to be on our side tonight because the mysterious figure known as Night Watcher made a sudden appearance to distract the Shredder from giving us another shell-lashing. I was worried for a second there because Shredder was starting to catch up to Night Watcher, but somehow in good-timing the groans of Bradford and Xever distracted him enough for us to escape.

With the help of the mysterious Night Watcher, we were able to make it far from Shredder, all four of us felt such gratitude for the mysterious vigilante helping us (well...more so then others not wanting to show it*cough* Raph *cough* ) ...me especially due to the fact that I'd sprained my leg during the fight with Shredded. When the five of us got to a manhole cover that would take us closest to the lair, Night Watcher said his farewells and he left. 'But the strangest thing is that he knew my name...this leaves me more questions then answers on who Night Watcher is and what group is he part of.........'
