"Did you see the new hot senior?!" A girl squeaked. Charlie. A close friend of Allisons'.

"I've seen him all weekend. He's my neighbor." Allison mumbled, crossing her arms.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Charlie questioned, her glasses sliding down the rim of her nose. "We're best friends after all." She added, exchanging begging eyes with Allison.

"Oh, he took my phone." Allison frowned. "Speaking of which, I gotta get it back."

Allison scrambled down a few stairs, instantly spotting Ricky near the end of the hall. Balling her fists with rage, she stomped over to him, huffing.

"Give me back my phone, jerk!" She hissed.

Ricky turned around, gazing down at Allison with a clear smirk of mock. "It's in my locker." He eventually replied.

Allison strained her neck to the side, spotting from behind Ricky a red-headed girl with narrowed eyes of annoyance. Her nose scrunched up with disgust, as the freckles along her face moved with anticipation.

Allison blinked away, exchanging a cold glare with Ricky. "Then go get it. I need to check my notifications."

"Oh, I answered them all for you." He casually replied, slipping his hands into the pockets of his trousers.

"You stupid tall jerk!" Allison gritted her teeth.

"Also, someone in your contacts likes you." Ricky added, smirking.

"Who?" Allison frowned.

"You'll see, c'mon." He grinned, gesturing his hand towards the exit of the door, where he excused himself from the red-haired girl with a flirtatious wink of his eye.

Ricky clicked the lock along his locker, snapping it off. He grasped at a device with a purple case. With a natural smirk, he tossed it to Allison.

She managed to catch it with a huff, instantly turning it on. Allison scrolled through her messages- spotting one in particular that made her grow red with rage.

"Ricky! Why'd you say 'maybe' when he asked me out?!"

"Because I didn't know if you liked him or not." He smoothly responded, leaning an arm on his locker.

"Why did you have to take my phone..-" She huffed, beginning to walk away, though a body slammed into her. Startled, Allison staggered back, flustered to see the guy who had asked her out.. Ray.

"Um, hey, Allison. You never really responded to my last text." He mumbled, running a hand through his brown locks.

From behind, Allison could just make out some muffled snorts coming from Ricky.

"Wh-what?" She rasped, fumbling with her phone.

"She would love to go out with you, Ray!" Ricky announced. "She's been crushing on you ever since you two met." He snickered.

"Allison, is this true?" Ray questioned modestly, masking his affection with a small smile of hope.

"U-um.. yes? No. No I meant..- maybe?!" Allison stuttered.

"I guess we're going out then. See you around, Allison." Ray grinned, resuming his walk down the hall.

"Did I ever mention that you're a jerk?" Allison hissed, her sapphire-blue eyes sparking with annoyance.

"Many times, nerd." Ricky grinned, winking. "Anyways, bye. I gotta get to class." He announced, before following after Ray.
