Allison and Ricky silently sat in a deserted room piled with chairs and school supplies. Detention.
"I blame you for this." Allison announced. "If you haven't been talking to Ivory this morning none of this would've happened."
"Oh, so you blame me for everything, huh?" Ricky repeated her remark. "Are you going to blame me for things I didn't do?!"
"Yeah, I'll blame you for everything now." She rolled her eyes, slumping in her seat.
"You little bit-"
"Hey, watch your language and why do I hear talking?!" A teacher hissed.
"It's because you got ears!" Ricky retorted.
"That's an extra fifteen minutes." She grumbled, leaning back in her chair.
"I hate you so much, Ricky Revere." Allison muttered.

"I'm supposed to give you a ride. C'mon!" Ricky yelled over a running engine of his car.
The two were finally released from detention. Though Allison wasn't giving in on Ricky's offer.
"I'd rather wait for my mom to get done with work." She retorted, shaking her head.
Growing annoyed, Ricky climbed out of his vehicle, casually picking Allison up with his muscular arms.
Allison grew flustered and surprise. "W-wait, Ricky! Put me down!" She hissed, squirming in his grasp.
"Shut up." He hissed, opening the back car door with a loose hand.
Huffing, Allison managed to slither from his arms, as she found herself climbing in.
"I hate you, jerk."
Ricky ignored her comment with a roll of his eyes, while he slid into the front seat. Starting the car back up, he drove off, a silent tension of annoyance filled the car between the two.

"Allison, why'd I get a call that you got detention?" Mrs. Hills crossed her arms, leading her daughter into the kitchen. "This isn't good for a future doctor." She added.
"Detention isn't a big deal, Mom." Allison muttered.
"Are you talking back?! This isn't how I raised you, Allison."
"Mom, just forget it. It's just detention." Allison repeated, slipping off her bag.
"And detention equals grounded. Go to your room." Her mother shot back, flicking a finger towards the stairs leading up into her room.

Allison lay in her bed, sighing, until a loud bang brought her out of her troubles thoughts.
She struggled out from beneath her sheets- gazing out her window to find.. Ricky?
He stood in his room with a paper posted on his screen.
"'Sorry'." Allison read aloud, frowning. She analyzed her room to find something to reply back on- until spotting a notepad.
She scribbled on some words, pasting her own response on her window.
No you're not. Allison wrote.
Yes I am.
Prove it. She responded, crumbling up the paper with doubt.
I will.
Rolling her eyes, Allison attempted to walk back into her bed, but a sudden crash made her grow cold.
Her mother scrambled into the room, holding a wooden arrow- her blue eyes wide with fear. "Someone shot an arrow through your window! Mrs. Hills announced, examining the weapon with thought.
"I-I.. I don't know who did it." Allison mumbled, the lie surprisingly slipping off her tongue. She eyed Ricky's window gratefully, where he held a bow in his hands- a natural smirk of triumph crossing his charming face.
"It's alright. But we'll have to repair your window now.. I guess you're ungrounded." Mrs. Hills sighed.
