Allison dashed down the halls of her school, in search of her savior, Ricky revere. The jerk that freed her from her room.

She eventually came to a halt, spotting him talking to a nearby girl. Without hesitation, Allison ran into his arms, hugging his neck tightly, though the results of her affection led to her needing to stand on the tip of her toes.

"Thank you!" She breathed.

"Getting you ungrounded was easy, nerd." He chuckled, wrapping his arms around her.

Allison peeked over Ricky's shoulder, expecting the girl to exchange a jealous frown, though she smiled welcomingly.

Allison pulled away, growing curious, and slightly jealous herself. "Oh, there's another girl flirting with you?"

"I'm a student tutor. Not a flirt." The girl responded, giggling. She flipped aside a few brown locks that masked her emerald eyes. "My name's Wendy." Wendy added politely.

"That must explain why you're wearing a black shirt." Allison nodded to her uniform.

"Yep. All tutors must wear black." Wendy smiled. "Are you Ricky's girlfriend?" She changed the subject, assuming such a thing based on how Allison had reacted to her presence.

"Even though you're a freshman and he's a senior, it's still pretty cute." Wendy giggled.

"Uh, me and Allison would never date." Ricky broke in, shaking his head.

"Ah, that's a shame. I imagine you two on the last day of school together." Wendy confessed, slipping a string of hair behind her ear.

"Speaking of which- isn't the last day of school two months from now?" Ricky tilted his head, leaning his back on a nearby locker.

"Yep." Wendy nodded.

"Ooh, I should throw a party." Allison thought aloud. "My mom is going to be out of the house then."

"Anyways, we were discussing lunch. We're going to the cafe, wanna join?" Wendy offered, politely interrupting Allison's thought with a natural smile of kindness.

"Can I invite a friend?" Allison questioned.

"Sure." Ricky and Wendy agreed.

Allison sat along the rim of a circular table, suddenly feeling bad for leaving Charlie alone yesterday at lunch. Sighing, she rose to her feet, in search of her friend.

Walking along hall after hall, Allison came to a room with a screen door visible enough for her to make out.. Charlie? With Ivory?!

What're they doing together? Are they talking about me?

Allison silently cracked open the door, their voices becoming clearer.

"She actually thinks I'm her friend." Charlie cackled, throwing her hair into a tight ponytail. "But she's such a nerd. no wonder nobody likes her. She needs to get a life."

"Especially when she's taking that senior away from us." Ivory agreed.

"We need to make him hate her." Charlie added, placing a hand on her chin with thought.

Allison paused, faint tears streaming down her face. She couldn't take this.. she thought Charlie was her friend? Muffling her cries, she slipped out of the room, and skidded down the hall to the cafe where she was meant to meet Ricky and Wendy.

"Oh, you brought Ray." Ricky grinned, though raised a brow with confusion. "I'm surprised you didn't bring Charlie."

Allison remained silent, deep in thought.

"Aye, Allison!" Wendy crowed, waving a hand in her face. "Is something wrong?"

"O-oh, don't worry. I'm fine." She compelled a smile, shrugging.

The four had settled down at a rounded table inside the cafe, a sweet aroma of mocha and coffee beans lingered around in the air.

Wendy, Ricky and Ray were chatting about a topic, suddenly laughing aloud. Allison played along, forcing a smile.

"Hey, Allison! I know that's a fake smile." Ray frowned, pausing.

The three remained silent, awaiting Allison's answer with concern.

"Charlie's no longer my friend." Allison blurted out, a lump forming tight in her throat. "I never want to speak to her again."

"What, are you sure? Everybody sees you two as best friends." Ray protested.

"Never mind that- what happened between you and her?" Ricky butted in, sharing a look of concern with Allison.

"I normally wait at a table where me and Charlie eat at for lunch, but she wasn't there. I went to go look for her and I saw her talking with Ivory. And for a girl like Charlie- or what I thought she was- I would've never thought she would talk to Ivory. Then they were talking about things- and I was brought up in the conversation, and then Charlie started talking trash about me. Which just goes to shoe she's a fake friend." Allison ended, blinking back sudden tears.

"That sounds like something Charlie would never do. I'm so sorry, Allison." Ray whispered, his own sadness reflecting off Allison's eyes.

"W-whatever they're nothing but gossipers and bullies." Allison muttered, while a red-haired girl that looked nearly identical to Ivory walked in- though a black hat shaded her eyes from Allison to look any further.

"Charlie is a fake friend, that's a dumb person." Allison continued, while the girl held up a device- seeming to take in everything the four said.

"And Ivory has an attitude problem. I-I just hate Ivory and Charlie." Allison grumbled, crossing her arms.
