Broken B1 - A Sophitz Story

Chapter 10

Fitz's POV

By now, Sophie and I had been dating for around a year. All of us had registered for the match, and we all had just gotten our scrolls. If Sophie wasn't on my list, I was going to throw something at the matchmaking office.

"Okay, everyone. Sit in a circle and open your scrolls. Don't react or anything, just wait until it is your turn to say who your number one match is. Then you can figure out how you want to do this." Edaline was trying to make sure everyone stayed calm in case something bad happened. I unrolled my scroll. I looked at my number 1.

"Now, Keefe. Who is your number one?"

"Um, my number one is Marella."

"Well, you both are extreme troublemakers," Biana said.

"How about you Lihn."

"Mine is... Wylie." Dex blushed and looked down.

"I have Lihn." He said.

"I have Tam!" Biana blurted out.

"I have you!" He replied. Everyone was extremely confused about how that happened, but they seemed happy, I guess.

"I haven't looked yet," Sophie said. She grasped my hand tightly.

"Um... Fitz! Fitz, It's you!!!"

"Sophie, don't get excited yet. Fitz still needs to have you." Edaline said gently.

Luckily, "Sophie, I have you!" Her lips met mine as we hugged. We wouldn't have to be scorned as a bad match. After a while, we finally pulled away to find everyone except Edaline staring at us dumbfounded.

"Is this how it is when you aren't dared to do it?" Keefe asked, slightly in awe.

"Anyway, it's done, right? So now we can go," I said, trying to change the subject. I glanced at Sophie and mouthed 'sorry'. Luckily, she looked at me understandingly. But I knew her, and I knew exactly what she was going to say.

"Fitz, can you stay here with me please?" Biana smirked, but continued as I replied with, "Yes".

I sat down next to her. A long silence stretched between us until Sophie spoke up.

"We're actually matched, Fitz!"

"Yeah, we are."

A/N I know, terrible ending. Author M (I'm Author B) was saying I should fix it, but I don't know how to fix it!!!
