Lacuna (N.)

A blank space, a missing part

I hung out with Fred for a bit, dreading hanging out with Draco. I knew I had agreed to it, but I knew he would maybe not be such an asshat for once. I sat curled up next to the fireplace with Fred admiring his freckled face. I had been helping him study for our O.W.L.S examinations recently since it was honestly helping me. I still wasn't over what had gone down and who my father really was. I had written him a letter addressed to Padfoot in case the ministry found it. I asked for a full explanation and if we could eventually meet up. I sighed slightly, putting my book down, not wanting to study much more.

"You can't possibly be done studying?"

"Fred, I don't care too much anymore."

"Is it because of Padfoot?"

"No, well, yes? I don't know! I already know the material, it's not like it matters if I study."

"Well, I don't really want to study. You just force me to." He chuckled, looking back over at me.

"Oh, shut it, Weasley, before I hit you so hard, that you'll be in a coma!"

"No, do it, please! I won't have to take these bloody exams!"

"No."

"Yes."

"No"

"Ye-" Fred started before getting cut off.

"Oi, shut it! we'd like some peace and quiet too!" George said, before going back to snogging Angelina.

"Ew, I'm leaving now. Bye Fred!" I said, grabbing my books and heading out to find Draco.

"I hate you, George, I swear to Godric if you don't shut up-" Was the last thing I heard as I felt the door close behind me.

I had no idea where to find Draco, causing me to struggle and ask other Slytherins. I found Annica, who was standing near the Great Hall if she'd seen him recently.

"I think he's in the common room? I can go get him if you'd like."
