𝕒𝕡𝕡𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕖 blue-gray tabby she-cat with dark gray stripes on her face and body, stark amber eyes, and a scar across the bridge of her nose. while her bluish coat is a sign of her riverclan heritage, her shorter coat and eye color are reminiscent of shadowclan. more on the smaller side physically.
𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕘𝕣𝕠𝕦𝕟𝕕 Rainsong's parents—Rowanheart and Silverstripe—were warriors of ShadowClan and RiverClan respectively. After meeting at a Gathering and developing a mutual attraction, they met in secret for a few months, until Rowanheart revealed herself to be pregnant with Silverstripe's kits. They split shortly after. Two months later, Rowanheart gave birth to Nightkit and Rainkit in ShadowClan without the support of a mate. A famine was sweeping through the Clan at the time, and she feared her kittens wouldn't survive. Desperate to save their lives, she begged her former mate to take them into RiverClan, to which he agreed. Nightkit and Rainkit were nursed by Feathershine, a RiverClan queen at the time, while Silverstripe did his best to be a warrior and and father to them.
Nightkit and Rainkit were looked down on for being half-clan, and this didn't change as they grew older and received their warrior names, Nightshade and Rainsong. One of the only cats to consistently be friendly to them was Stormbreeze, a she-cat who had grown up alongside them. While Nightshade took it to heart and became bitter, Rainsong remained cheerful and open-minded, refusing to let the negativity of other cats impact her. She essentially became the light of her brother's life, her cheerfulness and support giving him something to look forward to every day.
Rainsong is currently a full-fledged RiverClan warrior, serving as one of the Clan's most skilled hunters and biggest sources of positivity. She and her brother still occasionally see and catch up with their mother at Gatherings.

𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕪 the polar opposite of her brother. rainsong is sweet, chipper, and not at all ashamed of being half-clan; if anything, she finds it cool. she tries to see the best in every cat and shows kindness to everyone, regardless of how they treat her. though the hate does get to her sometimes, she does her best to block it out. while some might find her positivity annoying or fake, others find it endearing, and she's a much-needed source of happiness for a few open-minded cats. ultimately, while some may see her as immature or irritating, rainsong knows exactly who she is and has a heart full of love, things she won't let the world take from her. she's also highly energetic, and often has trouble focusing or taking things as seriously as she should.

𝕥𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕒 •her favorite food is fish, specifically trout. •despite not being the clan's strongest swimmer, she still loves the water and enjoys spending time near or in it. it's simply beautiful to her. •as her name would suggest, she also has an affinity for rain. she loves everything about it: the smell, the way it lingers on plants, and how it feels on her fur.
