"How long have we been walking again Aegon?" Nate asked his partner.

"From the angle of the sun and the length of our shadows... I would say for about... 2 hours or so." Aegon said as the two continued walking down the river.

Let me give all of you a small recap, the world Nate and Aegon are currently on is called Nidelheim a world in the brink of destruction by an ancient demon that goes by the name Ragnarok, his goal is to finish what he started 5000 years ago and that is to destroy Nidelheim along with 'The gate of the stars' if he succeeds then all of reality will be lost, but luckily for the world the 2 heroes of old were reborn once more to stop the ancient evil... however they were reborn into an optimistic idiot who likes making people smile, and a militaristic brat who who doesn't take failure nicely.

But for some miracle these two are trudging through the wasteland together, determined to save everyone from imminent death and destruction by the hands of Ragnarok.

However... that maybe a bit hard to believe if you look at these two.

3 hours later

"I spy with my little eye-" Nate said as he began to look around.

"A burnt tree." Aegon said with a tired expression.

"Wow your very good at this game." Nate said with a smile.

"Nate... that is the only thing we've been seeing for the past 3 hours." Aegon said.

"Guess you have a point... hey I think it is best if we set up camp for the night, what do you think?" Nate said to his black haired partner.

"I think thats the smartest thing you have said for the past 3 hours." Aegon said.

After the camp was set up

The camp they made wasn't anything special since they were transported to this world without the proper supplies, they collected some stone and wood and made a campfire and took some fallen logs and sat near the fire as they cooked some fish that Nate caught by shooting them with his gun.

The 2 saviours were looking at the flame when suddenly Aegon asked Nate a question.

"So why did you agree to do this dangerous mission?" Aegon asked as he threw another stick in the flames.

"I'll be honest with you... I didn't wanna do it." Nate said as he leaned forward to look at the flames.

"You didn't, why, aren't you a hero in your world?" Aegon asked.

"I am... but the strongest opponents I have ever faced was a mechanical dragon with the capacity to level a whole city, a mechanical phoenix with flames as hot as the sun, a ghost and machine monster, a black rabbit and a religious fool turned partner... but never have I faught something that has enough power to not only destroy a WORLD but the multiverse as well... I guess hearing Lady Amaterasu say that the monster is capable of destroying worlds made me... scared... scared to the point that I didn't wanna do it." Nate said with a small smile.

"But then she said that if we don't fight then that thing will destroy this entire world AND the multiverse, and the people we care about... I didn't want that to happen so I agreed knowing full well that... I may not return with my life." Nate said as he was the one to put a stick in the flame.
