Chapter 8: I don't wanna be your friend anymore

The Next morning

It's been a whole day since... the 'Incident' that caused half a million damage in the park, the news just reported that it was caused by a gas leak or something but to the 5 ladies watching they knew that the story was just that... a story, the real reason for the parks destruction was a lot more ludicrous sounding but the truth was that it was destroyed by 3 weapons of mass destruction, but the day was saved thanks to Steam Knight... that turned out to be Seraphine's best friend... Nate.

"I hope Nate is ok." Seraphine said as she hugged a teal pillow.

"You heard what the sauirt said, he'll be ok, he just needs to relax a bit." Evelynn replied taking a sip of her coffee.

"I know... but what if he's pushing himself again right now, what if something happens again to him, what if he meets one of those bio-weapons on the street again, what it he-" Seraphine began but was stopped by Ahri.

"Listen Sera, I know your worried about him, but Nate isn't stupid, he knows when he is outmatched and needs rest, don't worry I am sure he is just at home relaxing with Levy and waiting for us to pick them up for their day with us." Ahri said with a smile.

"I don't think he is resting." Akali said.

"Huh?" Seraphine asked.

"Look at the TV." Kai'sa said.

Seraphine looked at the TV and what she saw made her wide eye... it was a bank robbery... but the robbers were already dealt with and tied up... and the one that caught them... was Steam Knight... and he was currently waving at the camera before jumping away in the distance as the people cheered for him.

[Unlike Spiderman or other heroes the people Love Steam Knight, even the biggest reporter in the city loves his since he saved his daughter from an accident.]

Seraphine then hurriedly took out her phone and began dialling Nate's number.

'Hi Sera good morning.' Nate said in a cheerful voice.

"DONT 'GOOD MORNING' ME MISTER! WHY ARE YOU. OT RESTING!?" Seraphine yelled.

'Oh... you saw the bank robbery?' Nate asked.

"Yes I did, Nate you promised me your gonna take it easy today." Seraphine said.

'I was taking it easy, listen ok I can explain, I was just out for a walk to buy some dog food for Chiho and some bacon for breakfast, then all of a sudden I heard an explosion nearby and decided to check it out, I swear I wasn't looking for trouble!' Nate said.

"-sigh- I believe you Nate don't worry... but please promise me that you'll take it easy... at least till the Nebula Steam that doc gave ypu takes full effect, and if you really have no choice but to fight then promise me you'll be careful." Seraphine said worried about Nate.

'I promise Sera... and uhhh... I have something to tell you at the end of our time together with my sister and the rest of K/DA.' Nate said.

"Sure thing, well see you in a few Nate." Seraphine said.

'See you in a few Ser.' Nate said as he hung up the phone.

Seraphine then hung up her phone as she gave a deep sigh of relief, it wasn't even 7:00 in the morning and Seraphine was already stressed out, she then looked at her fellow members and all of them having a sly smirk clear on their faces.

"W-what?" Seraphine asked.

"왜 이걸 끝내고 이미 그에게 고백하지 않습니까?" Ahri said in Korean.
