As the days continued on, Niklaus came to a decision, a big decision, that he would not be staying in Mystic Falls any longer.
He wanted to be with his daughter, he needed to be with her. With these thoughts he looked over at his daughter as she chatted with Rebekah. Rebekah had instantly become attached to the young girl, never having been an aunt as they had believed that none of them could have children.
"Nik you seem to be in deep thought?" Elijah questioned as he sat down next to his brother.
"I'm not staying here anymore," Niklaus said, dropping the news onto his brother straight away. "I need to go with her, I can't leave her on her own," he whispered as he smiled, seeing Rebekah braiding Rosalie's hair, the girl changing her hair colour to Rebekah's favourite shade of purple.
Elijah looked at his brother in surprise. He didn't realise how much Rosalie had changed Nik in such a small amount of time it was, amazing. "You are sure of this?" Elijah questioned.
"Elijah, she is my child, she has been abused, she has been treated like a pawn, I cannot have her be hurt," Niklaus stated. "I owe it to Lily, I owe it to the woman I love," Nik whispered as he smiled seeing Rosalie look over to the pair, confusion in her eyes.
Rosalie took her fathers smile as a he was okay smile. She nodded but went back to talking with Rebekah. "Hey Rebekah?" Rosalie started, her eyes looking down at the ground.
"Yeah?" Rebekah asked smiling softly at the girl.
"Can, can I call you aunt Bekah?" Rosalie questioned not looking up, afraid Rebekah would not like her calling her that. Rebekah was stunned as she looked at the girl in front of her. After almost a week, this young girl wanted to call her, her, aunt Bekah.
"Of course you can." Rebekah stated, smiling brightly at the young girl, and hugging her tightly.
Rosalie smiled brightly as she hugged her back. Finally she had a bloody amazing aunt. She might actually have an amazing family for once. No one to beat her, no one to yell at her, but people to love her.
"Rosalie, could I please get you to go to your room, I just need to speak with my sister and brother very quickly." Niklaus said making the two girls let each other go. Rosalie nodded before getting up from the floor and skipping out. A grin on her face.
"Nik what's wrong?" Rebekah asked as she watched her older brother.
"I've decided that once Rosalie leaves, I will follow, I do not want to leave her alone and I do not want her to feel alone when she goes back. I have to be her father, I have to be there always, not miles and miles away." Niklaus stated as he looked to both siblings.
"Had I had the chance, I would have married Lily, and taken the daggers out of our siblings just so we could all be happy, you could have met the woman who made me feel and my best mates." He continued as both his sister and brother listened. "So as soon as she needs to go back, I am going with her. Damn revenge, damn fighting the Scooby Gang I am done. I am going to be her father."
