"You don't have to kill him Draco." I said trying to calm him down. To not make him scared.
"You don't understand Hazel. If I don't kill Dumbledore... the Dark Lord is gonna kill me."
My heart sank in the bottom of the ocean. Each organ in my body stopped working. My eyes started tearing down once again. "What?" I said with my hurtful voice.
"I don't wanna die."
"Draco." I said jumping into his arms. "Why didn't you tell me." I hugged him, trying to make him realize that he didn't have to go through it alone.
"I couldn't. I didn't want to risk losing my only happiness." he hugged me back tighter. We both didn't talk a word after. We just hugged each other. Both of our brains being in completely different places. "That's where Pansy comes in." I quickly let go of the hug when Draco broke the silence.
"Pansy?"
"There is uh- there is a vanishing cabinet-"
"What's that?" I asked cutting him off.
"It uh- it acts as a passage between two places."
"Why would you need that?"
He ignored my question, "And I needed someone to help me not get caught. Pansy was ready to do anything for me."
"Because she loves you, doesn't she?"
"But I don't," Draco said immediately. "I don't love her. Not anymore."
"Anymore?! What do you mean anymore?"
"Haven't you loved anyone before me?"
Julian.
"Look..." Draco continued, "Pansy was a mistake Hazel. And I'm sure of it. I would choose you over and over. You. Not her." He put his hand on my cheekbone. "Let's forget the past and move on. Together."
"Draco-"
"Be mine Hazel Salvatore."
"What?" I said digesting his question. "What did you say?"
"Be mine. And I'll be yours. I want to be yours." He crashed his lips into mine when he said his last word. He passionately kissed me as his tongue glided into mine. My hands went up to his neck as I pulled myself closer to him.
"That dress looks hot on you," he said pausing our session, "red suits you."
"Mhm." I said not wanting to stop, I pressed my lips against his while everyone else was at the dance.
--
"It's getting late Draco-" I said finally letting go of his face.
"So?" he said grabbing his suit he wore for the dance and putting it back on again.
"We should get back to the dance. I was excited for it."
"Fine by me. Anything to dance with you Ms. Salvatore." I giggled as he walked down the stairs. I followed him and he lead both of us back to the ballroom.
We went down the stairs smiling. We went through the hallways talking and laughing. I got to see Draco's happy face once again.
Once we arrived at the dance, I was let down. The dance was already over. There was no one around except the person who was responsible with the music.
We must have spent too much time on the Astronomy Tower with Draco.
"Oh well-" I said getting upset, "we missed it."
