Chapter 5: Becoming A Hero

Y/n woke up in his apartment where he quickly went to shower and came out with a shorts,sweater and slippers,tho it was simple it looked a bit cool.

According to him that is.

Y/n:...It's time for the training...

He quickly went out of the house, not locking behind him,due to him having nothing.

Y/n was sitting with Chiranko on the floor as Bang was demonstrating it to them.

Y/n whispered to Chiranko confused as to why Bang is also teaching him if he was here at this Dojo for a long time.

Y/n:(Whispering) Hey,why are you here again?

Chiranko:(Whispering) Because I'm a disciple of Master Bang...

Y/n:(Whispering) No what I meant was-

Just as Y/n was about to finish his question a hand came flying in between their faces.

The force of the punch created wind pressure around the Dojo.

Y/n and Chiranko followed the arm and saw Bang glaring at the two.

Bang: Don't chat while I'm busy teaching you. You got it?

Chiranko&Y/n:...Yes!

Bang stood up tall and looked at Y/n.

Bang:Anyway,we should get you dressed in proper training gear.

Y/n:Huh? Why? Doesn't this suit me?

Bang walked off laughing.

Bang:Haha! Not in the slightest.

Y/n looked at his outfit as he looked at Chiranko laughing at him.

Y/n:What's so funny?

Chiranko:Haha! Nothing...

Bang came back with a white  gear for Y/n to put on.

He threw it at Y/n as he caught it.

Bang:This will be with you 24/7 no matter what.

Y/n came out with his new karate outfit and looked a bit muscular in it.

Bang:See? Much better,isn't it?

Y/n:It's a little uncomfortable.

Bang:Then get use to it. Now let's begin.

Y/n and Chiranko stands behind Bang as they copied Bang's movements.

Over and over again they trained,tho Chiranko got quickly exhausted and rested while Bang and Y/n trained together,even sometimes sparring with each other.

Chiranko was so surprised that he didn't expect Y/n to master the Fist Of Flowing Rock in a day.

Chiranko:(mind) I too should get stronger.

For hours and hours if training they finally stopped,Bang feeling more than pleased of the outcome that Y/n mastered his technique,moreover in just a day.

They were drinking warm tea as they sat opposite each other.

Bang:So Y/n,have you ever decided on becoming a hero?

Y/n:...I don't have the time for that.

Bang:You don't have time for it you say?

Y/n:Yeah,I need to earn money,so playing hero and villain is out of the question.

Bang:But I hear rumors that you are hunting monsters...

Y/n:Yeah,because they are always getting in my way of finding a new job,so I'm always hunting them down in every city.

Bang looks at Y/n's serious face as he laughs.

Bang:Haha!!!!

Y/n looked at Bang, confused.

Y/n:What's so funny? My life isn't that good right now,you know?

Bang:No,no sorry about. Didn't you know that being a hero is a job? I mean everyone knows you get paid for it...

Y/n stares at Bang dumbfounded before realizing that he was actually right.

Y/n:Eh!?!?!?

Bang laughs aloud as Y/n looks at him.

Y/n:Then how am I supposed to join? Should I just kill monsters?

Bang:No,you have to sign up to become a hero,plus you still have to take the exams.

Y/n gripped his head in dissatisfaction.

Y/n:But old geezer, can't you help me out here,I am your disciple aren't I?

Bang:The way you call me old geezer says otherwise...but I may be able to help you,tho I don't know what rank they will place you in,probably Class C, Haha!!!

Y/n:Class C? do they pay good? Is it a satisfying job?

Bang:Class C,you can consider the worst due to the jobs,but like I said I'll try to see if I can get you in.

Y/n bows his,thanking him.

Y/n:Thank you!

Bang gets up as he was to head to the Hero Association.

Bang:...Clean up here.

Y/n:Yes!

Y/n was laying on the floor in his house waiting for any signs of him joining the Hero Association.

Y/n:Damn,it's taking longer than I thought,what's up with this anyway...

As he gave it Y/n looked at it and back at the man as he walked away.

Y/n closed the door behind him as he went to take a seat on the floor.

Y/n:What class am I?

He opened the envelope as a page with a Big letter A was written on it.

Y/n:A Class? Is that even good?

Y/n felt something else in the bag,it was a bit heavy to be called a paper.

He took it out and saw that it was a phone.

Y/n:They give out free devices.

"Ding Ding Ding"

Y/n looked at the message and saw that it was sent by the Hero Association.

Y/n read the message as he noticed multiple things.

Y/n:I got my own bank account?
