(Not my art, but look at them!!!) soooo I'm making this book fully dedicated to the Dabihawks fanfic... I'll make a new BNHA sickfics 2 for other fics I'll write.

I hate what you've done, but for some reason I can't bring myself to hate you', was what he really meant to say.

Silence fell over them, but it didn't last for long. While the water had satiated Hawks desiccated body for a brief moment, his stomach did not seem all too happy to be met with such a cool intruder. His mouth watered and his body jerked forward with an icky feeling lingering far back in his throat.

With a harsh gag muffled into his hand, Dabi quickly became alert and thrusted a bin into his lap just in time for the misery to unfold.

With no resentment, his body forced him into a new fit of vomiting. Acidic and vile, his dinner resurfaced into the small bin he had been presented with as he coughed chestily.

In the midst of the chaos that brawled inside his body, Keigo found himself gripping desperately for a reality to believe in. The news that had just been dispensed fastened like an invisible anchor around his legs, pulling him into the dark. Part of his rationality told him this was a scam, yet his emotions told him this truly was the grim reality they lived in.

Some vomit poured from his burning nose, and the boy heaved heavy breaths through his clogged airways. He sobbed, despite trying his best not to, and felt worse immediately. His limbs were shaking beyond his control and his heart had been lodged somewhere far up in his cerebrum.

"You're truly foolish for going out there while being this sick.." the villain scolded, although his voice mainly sounded disappointed to see the hero in such a sorry state. Pity, that's what it was. Pure, discernible pity.

Hawks could feel a hand press against the back of his neck, and his shoulders involuntarily tensed up against the touch. He didn't intend to, but the feeling startled him, sent chills down his spine and brewed to the sorrowful feeling in the pit of his stomach.

"...I know, but-but I gotta try and help at least... a little bit" retorted Hawks blandly, choking on the acid that slipped from his lips. "That's what a true hero does.."

Keigo was all too aware that he was pushing all the buttons that would cause the former Todoroki to burst, but it was just as obvious that it was done 100% purposely. This was just another one of his antics, they were both utterly aware of that.

Dabi bit his tongue, feeding into a silence that again folded across them . Keigo was so fed up with the silence.

Never before had he taken such a keen notice of how much time could resemble water. Sometimes it could pass by slowly, one drop at a time or even seem to be frozen completely. On other occasions it rushed by in the blink of an eye, giving no room to comprehend its passing.

Dabi returned his attention to the wound that obtained Hawks' left arm, no longer paying any attention to their previous conversation. Answers would enfold when the time was right, and now was not the time. The blonde bird's fever was only rising along with the sun in the horizon and he soon found himself too weak to press the subject any further.

He slipped into a semi-conscious state of mind, rigidly aware of the blooming pain in every part of his body yet being unable to verbalise his feelings. His eyes were open, but all he saw was the hostile darkness.

"Keigo.." a voice echoed from afar, probing through the murky shadows. "Keigo, wake up" the voice gradually got closer, clearer and louder. The growing consciousness allowed the winged hero to become aware of a lingering tone of concern and despair in the persons voice.

He allowed himself to groan, stirring ever so slightly as he steadily woke his body up from its restless slumber. "Mmvat..?"

Opening his eyes, Hawks was yet again unprepared to be met with the scarred face of Dabi, rather thann the beaked boy he was tuoring. Memories trickled back into his mind slowly and soon he was able to recall the perplexing events that had occurred since the day before.

Dabi. Touya. Everything. Come to think of it, it made more sense now that his mind had run it through for the millionth time. Touya never spoke about his issues with his family, yet Keigo had always known something wasn't right at home. Having had a rough family life himself, it wasn't too hard to pick up on the subtle hints from others.

He felt stuck in doubt. Endeavour was his biggest hero, the one who had saved him and taught him most of what he knew today. To think the same man was the one who drove his best friend- and former lover, to such a dark path...

The thought alone was unbearable.

"You need to take some medicine for your fever.. " said the villain leisurely, holding up a box of paracetamol. "If you want to get better, that is. I would give you morphine for those broken ribs, but we don't have the resources to buy such luxuries.."

Keigo looked at him with creased brows and a stiff lip, then reached his right arm out to let the other carefully pull his weight until he was sitting upright.

"Okay.." through his blurry vision, the winged hero struggled to grab the pill he was presented with. His fingers fumbled against the palm of Dabis hand, moving across the creases and bumps and only pushing the pill further away rather than picking it up. His eyes spun; everything was doubled up. What sort of lucid dream had his life become all of a sudden?

At last, Dabi gave up on his feverish antics. He pushed the hero with his back to the wall, taking on the responsibility to pop the tablet into his mouth and from then on pressing the water bottle to his lips. Keigo did not complain. He eagerly took a couple of sips, but the other stopped him before he had the chance to make himself sick yet again.

He laid back down, but the next thing he knew, someone was carding their fingers gently through his damp hair. Hawks squinted his eye open to see Dabi staring out into the air dully, his hand lingering in the hero's blonde hair as he unconsciously moved it through the locks.

Was he just casually petting his hair? How strange, he must've thought the hero was already fast asleep...
