The days passed by too quick for him to even comprehend. There were no windows in the room he was staying in, so all the hero could do was rely on his inner clock to calculate the hours that passed by.
Keigo Takami was wondering if the world even noticed it when one of the top 3 heroes suddenly vanished from the earths surface.
Three days, and no one had been close to figuring out where he was.. captured? Nursed? He wasn't sure which category he sought the most suitable for his current situation.
He couldn't leave, yet that was due to nothing other than his own body being in such a bad shape. Had he been up and running already, not a single thing would stop him from leaving.
His body had been through a bit of a journey since Dabi seized the bird-hero laying at deaths door; from soaking through one too many mattresses to promptly vomiting all over one of the most well-known villains of the day and time. Far too many of his not too proud moments..
This said villain had helped him with everything from sitting upright to changing his clothes and cleaning him up since he arrived. Nothing had faced him at all, and not even when his jacket was covered in puke had he complained.
There was no denying the spine-chilling look that had developed in the blue eyes through years of defilement, or the aggravation and lack of care in his voice. However, there were moments where Keigo had not heard Dabi speak to him, but Touya. The change in tone was prevalent, from cold to warm, vicious to caring. It terrified him more than anything else.
Hawks found himself steadily coming to terms with how their lives had turned out, although it took a lot of constant effort. He saw Dabi as a new person, just as much as he saw him as the old.
The conversations they'd held since he got there were brisk yet they always left the blonde with material to ponder about for hours.
This was him, this was Touya. How he got to this point of life was up to him alone to open up about, but for the time being, Hawks could only fabricate theories upon his own beliefs and the brief information he had received.
Money was, unsurprisingly, quite scarce for the villain. However, with a few dollars from Hawks' pocket, Dabi was able to retrieve enough food for the both of them to last the full 5 days he ended up bedridden.
During Lunch time on day 3, Keigos fever had just about vanished. He was up walking by himself, and although his clothes were run down, a lively glow had returned to his cheeks.
Dabi watched him from the corner of his eye as he stepped out from the small, unruly bathroom that came along with the abandoned building. He had a towel wrapped around his waist, and his hair had whirled into a couple of shades darker after being wet from the shower.
Dabi hadn't told him, but he had been up since 4AM in order to warm up the required amount of water for Hawks to have an enjoyable wash in the long unutilized systems. It took a lot of effort on his part, but the results seemed to be worth the extra hours.
Keigo reached to grab his black and gold vest, cringing at how sweaty and smelly it was and dreading the thought of placing something so vile on his now newly clean torso.
As he sucked in a breath, something soft thumped the side of his face. His eyebrows pinched together, and his head craned around ever so slowly to divulge the reprobate. He feigned an offended expression, placing a hand to his bare chest to add to the effect. He was about to open his mouth in an exasperation, but Dabi beat him to it.
"Oh, save the drama for later, birdbrain" the villain mused, hiding the mirth that sparked in his eyes by looking down to the item he had tossed. "I brought some new clothes"
