Zabuza and The Tracker Ninja

Ryuu's POV:

As we were on the boat, we found out that Gato was the reason we had to protect the bridge-builder.

I knew I should've killed that no good bastard Gato when I was here a few years back. I can't believe I forgot all about that. Then maybe we wouldn't be in this situation. I have to be serious now, the next ninjas they send will be elites. 

I was shaken out of my thoughts when I heard, "Yeah!" come from Naruto. I looked up and saw that we were out of the fog, and in The Land of Waves. 

We climbed out of the boat and started walking. Well, that was until Naruto, Sasuke, and I started racing. 

Naruto suddenly ran ahead of us all and started throwing Kunai, "Over there! Hm. It was just a mouse."

"Yeah right! mice are too silent for you to even notice stupid!" I shouted while Sakura simultaneously shouted, "Mouse? Yeah right! Everyone can see through your stupid act! You're so obvious, it's embarrassing!"

"Naruto, those are kunai knives. They're dangerous. " Kakashi explained as if talking to a 3-year-old.

"[Grumbling] Stop trying to scare me, you scruffy little dwarf!" Tazuna yelled making me laugh.

I stopped laughing as soon as I started though because I sensed someone's presence nearby. 

That chakra. It's cold. And the other one, it's deadly. Could it be--

My thoughts were cut off by Naruto throwing another kunai, "Over there!"

"That's it Naruto!" Sakura shouted walking over to him and hitting him on the head.

"Ahh!" Naruto yelled holding his head, "Wha--? Why'd you do that? Someone really is following us! I mean it!"

I stopped listening to go investigate. I walked into the bush where Naruto threw the kunai and saw a snow-white rabbit. While Naruto was busy apologizing. I got lost in my thought again.

A snow rabbit shouldn't be here, in The Land of Waves...Unless...SUBSTITUTION!!

"Get Down!" Kakashi-sensei yelled shaking me out of my thoughts once again.

I looked up only to see a sword fly right above my head.

Everyone got up quickly and Kakashi-sensei patted my head. I think he did it more so to check if I had any injuries than to reassure me the I was fine.

I looked to where I sensed the deadly chakra signature coming from and saw--

"Zabuza Momochi," Kakashi-sensei stated almost lazily.

Naruto started running at Zabuza, only to be stopped by Kakashi, "You're in the way. Get back."

"But why?" Naruto complained.

"He's not like those other ninjas. He's in a whole other league. If he's our opponent, I'm going to need this."

Kakashi reveals the Sharingan.

Timeskip because I'm too lazy

Naruto made a ton of shadow clones and charged at Zabuza. He was easily kicked off, but he grabbed his backpack and pulled out a demon wind shuriken and threw it to Sasuke. Sasuke easily caught it and threw it at the real Zabuza.

"You could never touch me with that." Zabuza caught it but realized there was a second one, in the first's shadow. He jumped over it and said, "I told you!" He was however shocked when he heard a poof and turned around to me throwing a kunai at him in the shurikens place. Zabuza removed his arm from the water prison and Kakashi was set free. 

As I was falling into the water, Zabuza was getting prepared to throw the first shuriken at me. Luckily, Kakashi stopped it with his arm before he could throw it.

When I landed in the water, I silently screamed to myself due to the salty water getting into my wound. I quickly got out of the water to ease the pain. When I got out, I could only sit there breathing heavily, watching the fight. 

In the end, a tracker ninja came and 'killed' Zabuza.

That tracker ninja had the same cold chakra I felt before--

My thoughts were cut off by Naruto and Sakura screaming, "KAKASHI-SENSEI!!"

"Hahaha! What a loser! He's almost out of chakra! Haha-" I was cut short by Sakura punching me in the head.

"Gahh! That really hurts, ya know!" My verbal tick coming out because of the pain.
