I woke up early the next morning and walked out of the tent like shelter, and into the chilly, crisp autumn air and shivered pulling my camo coat on that I smuggled along with a gun, and 4 knives with me. I grabbed a bucket that was outside and looked inside to make sure it was clean, that it wasn't a toilet, it was clean but had a funky smell so I put it back and just grabbed the metal bottle and walked down to the small creek. After a couple minute walk just looking at the trees beautiful, colorful leaves. I found the creek, I dipped the bottle into the icy cold water, filling it up to the top, I stood up and was about to turn when I heard a 2 mens laughing, it sent chills racing down my spine and caused my heart to leap up and into my throat. I climbed up the closest tree and sat on a branch, glad that I wore the camo coat and boots, along with dark brown pants, also that my hair was brown so it didn't stick out, like a blondes or red heads would. 2 guys apeared from out behind a bush on the other side of the creek the one guy was still laughing his ass off. "Did you see that girls face as I toke her virginity then the light slowly leave her eyes as I strangled her, god I'm going to miss this when I turn 20" he yelled not caring about being quiet, probably thinks no one can beat him. "lets cross the creek," the second guy said looking at the one guy who was still laughing like a mad man. Sick bastard I thought watching them cross. Wait what if they find me, or more importantly Ruby! I waited for them to get close enough and I jumped down from my spot, landing on the second guy, smaller of the 2 guys and drove my knife through his neck. When I did a back flip off of him, I successfully pulled the knife out of its position in the mans neck, the man fell to the ground with a thud, and I landed on my feet and turned to see the first guy charging towards me with a knife held out, aimed at my throat. I ducked under his first attack but he managed to cut my upper arm. I didn't turn around fast enough, he shoved me to the ground and flipped me over so I could see him, pinned my wrists together, above my head with one of his hands, and pinned my legs painfully to the ground. "Hello," he purred stroking my check with his free hand. I shivered out of fear. "We are going to have some fun," he whispered huskily as he unzipped my coat, and slipped his hand under my shirt, his finger found their way to my bra, going under the bra and grasping my boob. He sat up suddenly, very strait, and gasped. He let go of my hands and I shoved him off of me. He fell to the ground, gasping for air. I looked up and saw Ruby holding a bloody knife and blood coming out of the back of the mans neck. "Come on," she said loudly grabbing my hand and we sprinted back to the shelter. "We have to leave," she said as we entered the shelter, "now." She picked up all of the clothes and wrapped them in a quilt, then tying the 4 corners together and picking it up "but why?" I don't understand. "we must leave, if someone comes across those 2 guy's bodies they will know someone was just recently there we must leave now, people like that usually don't work alone and the others will be soon looking for them." she explained grabbing every bottle we had which is 7 half of a gallon milk jugs and 3 gallon jugs plus the metal bottle and put them in a large backpack. "come on," she said throwing me a different backpack, "hold it open." I did as I was told and she put the quilt with the clothes inside, in the backpack then shoved 2 more blankets inside and the backpack zipped up easily. "Carry the clothes and blankets, I will carry the water jugs, as much as I hate to do it.... we have to go back to the creek and fill some of the jugs so we have water just in case." I nodded and we sprint back to the creek, and when we arrived we filled up the jugs most of them, we let 3 stay empty so it wasn't so heavy. "Which way?" I asked looking around, "let's go north." she whispered pointing a direction, which I guess is north. "How do you know that's north?" I asked skeptically. "it's simple," she explained pointing to the sun, "the sun always starts in the east, and ends in the west, so if you face the sun when it is in the east, north is to your left and south is to your right. Or if you face west north is to your right and south to the left." she said turning to look at me again and I nodded. She smiled "lets get running I would like to get at least 7 miles away then we will set up a temporary shelter for the night." she explained, I responded "yes ma'ma" and we started running north, and hopefully away from all the trouble those two caused.
