I ran until the moon was high in the sky when I decided I'd just climb a near by tree and spend the night up there instead of making my own shelter. I climbed to the very top of the tree, found a spot where two branches meat I put a leg on each side of the tree and rested my back on one branch. I let myself sob, for Ruby, it's my flat thats she's dead, my tears came out even faster at the thought, if I would have just slit that mans throat in the first place she'd still be hear. I cried myself to sleep, and dreamed about Ruby the entire night.

I woke up the next morning, my face wet with fresh tears. I wiped my face with my sleeve then looked at it, it was stained red with blood, the blood I wiped off my face yesterday, the blood that man spit on me. I looked up to see the sun rising in the sky and I didn't believe what I saw, right in front of me, a ruined city, with a sign that says 'Welcome to Seattle' I smiled and climbed down the tree and grabbed the pack and put it on my back. I ran into the city, looking for the rebellion.
