"Bria Elizabeth,
You make me crazy. You've just about driven me past the point of insanity. Those words you spoke the last time we were together echo in the back of my mind every waking moment. I've done just about everything in an attempt to drown it out. Despite all my efforts a part of me yearns to spend hours listening, soaking in every last word. Bria Elizabeth your voice is more than music to my ears, in fact it's exceedingly intoxicating. The one thing my parents taught me that holds the slightest bit of truth is how love makes even the strongest of us weak. You make me immensely weak. Every moment I'm with you I feel myself slipping. Love is the most dangerous weapon one could ever use against a person... is what I used to believe. However, that changed after I met you. That's not all. You turned my entire world upside down, changed me in ways I never thought to be possible. You are living proof that anything is possible. You've shown me light when all I've ever known was darkness. I'm not ready to let go of that light. I don't think I'll ever be ready. Call me selfish if you must, but I truly believe a part of me needs you to survive. Without you I might as well die seeing as I was never truly living before we met. I was just existing. However if you gave me the option, I'd live for you. I love you Bria Elizabeth.
-Puppy dog eyes"The great hall hummed with constant chatter and harsh whispered tones. The room was lit by hundreds of floating candles, their flames danced as they glow. Quick concerned glances are passed along from table to table, friend to friend almost like a game of telephone. Albus Dumbledore stood casting a warning glance around the room, and the chatter quickly died down.
"As I'm sure you are all aware, this school year will be like no other. Under the unfortunate circumstances of recent tragedies, a few of our fellow wizarding schools have been closed due to the attacks. Most students have either left for home to be with family or transferred. I'd like to announce that we will be welcoming many new transfer students this year."
Bria Elizabeth, a Ravenclaw in her sixth year glanced around curiously. She noticed the concerning amount of worry and tension around the room and assumed there must be more to worry about than everyone is letting on. Professor Mcgonagall entered with the transfers and first year students who were dressed head to toe in black.
She eyed the new students, observing them carefully while trying to distinguish the cause behind everyone's additional concern. 'Was there a third Malfoy coming I didn't know about?' She pondered. Her gaze wondered over to Malfoy who appeared to be more irritated than usual however, she decided to dismiss her Malfoy theory. Her light hazel eyes filled with growing interest, skimmed throughout the room searching for clues. Halfway through sorting through ridiculous scenarios in her mind she decided to let it go seeing as she'd most likely find out after the sorting ceremony anyways.
She watched the first years and transfers, all waiting to be sorted. All of them watching everyone else get sorted, waiting eagerly. All of them except a tall brown haired boy, who was even paler than the Draco Malfoy. He was staring at something behind Bria, or so she thought. It took her a moment to realize it wasn't something behind her he was staring at, It was her. She held his gaze curious as to why this stranger had such interest in her. Most people often looked past her, never taking much time to even acknowledge her existence. Perhaps she spilled something on her clothing? No that couldn't be, the feast hasn't even started yet and she most likely would have noticed if something had. So what else could it be? His cold expression lacked emotion, his eyes still fixated on her. His face was frozen like that of a statue, his intimidating stare stuck on her. She raised an eyebrow at him, not breaking eye contact. To her surprise his lips curl into a light smile and his stone cold, frozen expression fades for just a moment. Almost as soon as his light smile had come it quickly faded and he broke eye contact, turning back to face the front. The girl beside him whispered something into his ear and Bria studied her for a moment, taking in their remarkable resemblance. Siblings? Possibly twins? She wondered.
