Chapter 6

sorry guys I changed how luke and I met so if you don't want to go back and read it again I'll tell you what happens. OKAY well luke and I were best friends but stopped talking becuase I got a boyfriend called Jake so luke and I stopped talking and now we start talking again becuase of the accident and yeah. so when I said "old times" that's what I meant:) okay back to the story

I woke up with a sore head and back. I sat up and looked around to notice I was in Lukes lounge room. Everyone was still asleep around me except for luke. I stood up and walked towards the kitchen to see luke making coffee. "Goodmorning beautiful" he said wrapping his arms around me. "Can I have a-" I started. "Green tea" he finished my sentence. "Your really good at remembering this sort of stuff" I said sitting down at the counter. "It's hard to forget someone and everything about them when they were a big part of my life" he said pouring the water into a cup. "You were a big part of my life too" i said hugging him from behind.

"What happened last night" I said sounding like I was at a party yesterday. "After we played truth or dare we played hide and seek and that turned into tips and you were running and fell over and hit your head on the grass outside" luke said using his thumb to push away the hair in my face. "Thanks for helping me" i said having a sip of my tea. I walked back into the lounge room to see everyone awake. "Hey guys" I said sitting back down on my made up bed. "Hello" james said. "Can we do something today?" Beau asked us all. "How about the beach" Jai suggested. Oh no, not the beach.

I went back home to get dressed into my swimmers. This was a terrible idea. I put on my bikini and bottoms with a pair of Jean shorts and a tank top over them. I went and took my makeup off but put some waterproof maskara on. I grabbed a beach bag with a towel and sunscreen and those sort of essentials. The boys were going to meet us there. And by "us" I mean myself and Casey, Beaus girlsfriend. Also known as my best friend.

I went downstairs and grabbed some money from the fruit bowl and locked up, then I headed over to caseys. I knocked on her door as I heard her run in my direction. "Hey" she said flinging her bag over her shoulder. "You ready?" I asked as I swung my car keys around my finger. "Yep, let's go". We both got in the car and I reversed out of the driveway. I turned on the radio as the drive was about 10 minutes. After some driving and some traffic we finally made it to the beach. I parked the car and we both got out and grabbed our bags. I saw the boys on the beach and it made me nervous. We walked towards the boys as Luke and Beau exited the water to greet us.

"Hey" luke said hugging me. I smiled and hugged him back. Casey and I put our bags down and got our towels out, laying them flat on the sand. "I might just sit for a while" I said sitting down. "No, come on Jess, the water is nice" Luke pleaded. I gave in and took off my shorts but left my shirt on. We walked into the water hand in hand, away from everyone else. "Take this off" Luke said tugging on the bottom on my tank top. "Nah I'm alright" a said trying to save myself. "Jess, your beautiful and you shouldn't care about what other people think of you" he said nicely. I half smiled and walked back to shore and took my shirt off. I held my arms infront of my belly and walked deeper into the water.

"Where are you going?" Luke asked, still in the same spot as before. "I just wanted to go deeper" i said. He swam over to me and hugged me. "Jess, whatever it is you can tell me" i nodded and walked up to shallower water so just my legs were in water. I remover my arms and his eyes started to water and his jaw dropped. "Jess" he whispered. I held his jaw in my hands "im fine luke". He just hugged me and told me it was okay. I was used to this reaction because this was how all my friends reacted when I told them I cut. Luke bent down and kissed the scars on my belly. He was so sweet. "IS JESS PREGNANT?!" Daniel yelled. Luke and I both started laughing. "That's the smile i had missed" Luke smiled

We all had a great time at the beach but as the sun set we packed up and went home. Luke and I both pulled up in our driveways at the same time. I got out and waved at him and he done the same. Casey grabbed her things and her and Beau went to her house because Beau was meeting her parents. As Beau walked past my house I stopped him and whispered "good luck, your going to need it" in his ear and he gave me a scared look. I patted him on the back as he walked off. Luke can over to the back of my car and sat in the boot with me. "I had fun today" i said. Luke lifted up my chin and kissed me. I wasn't expecting that but Im glad he done it. I kissed back.

We got out of the boot and I locked it. I unlocked the front door and luke followed me inside. I made sure nobody was home and I jumped up wrapping my legs around his back. We kissed passionately as Luke put me on the lounge and he was hovered over me. I took a breath as Luke made kisses down my neck and chest. I pulled his head up and connected our lips again. We both stopped and luke looked at me. He nodded and I gave him a nod back and we ran upstairs. I tripped and luke caught me as we both laughed. I locked my bedroom door and I jumped on luke again as we continued kissing.

He laid me down on the bed, hovered over me. I wanted to be ontop so we switched. I started to laugh and he did too. "Why are we laughing" I said between breaths and laughs. "I have no idea" Luke said wrapping his arms around me. I sat on his belly as he laid on my bed. Our palms on eachothers he played with my hands. "I love your eyes" I said moving our hands in a circular motion. "Yours are beautiful, they are my favourite feature of you" I smiled at his comment. "We only have like three weeks left of holidays" I said frowning. "Well we have do so something exciting and fun for the rest of those three weeks, don't we" he said smirking.

Luke and I watched The Lion King becuase it was both of our favourite Disney movies. "Do you remember how we met?" Luke said as the movie credits rolled on the screen. "Ofcourse I do, do you?" I asked pulling the blankets up over my arms."It was in the second grade, I was colouring in a house, you know, as you do casually, and then you walk in and everyone called you the "new girl" but I remember I called you "Jaaas" becuase I couldn't pronounce your name, and then you coloured in the rest of my house pink when it was supposed to be orange" he said as if he was reading it from a book. "Im impressed Brooks" i said smiling. "Okay then goosey" we said reffering to our nicknames.

My nickname was "goosey" becuase I would always get goosebumps whenever something exciting happened, like in a movie or when someone kissed and you get that feeling like omfg yeah so luke named me goosey. "You remembered" I said kissing his nose. "Although we didn't talk for a year I can still remember every little thing about you, it's hard to forget babe" I smiled at how cheesy he was being. "Shut up" I said hitting his arm. "What?!" He asked confused. I lifted up the blankets and pulled my legs to my chest to show luke my goosebumps. He smiled at me and began laughing.
