chapter 23 - clingy

    The first one to arrive to morning practice is  Oikawa. "Good morning Oikawa!" you greet him chirpily . "Good mor-" he cuts himself off looking you up, and down whistling at you making you blush. "S-stop it!" you say looking away, your blush only intensifying. "Ahh i'm sorry Y/n-chan, you just look lovely." he says chuckling walking to the boys locker room. Letting out a breath you didn't know you were holding in waiting for the other members to show.

    Next to come through the doors is Iwaizumi. "Good morning Iwaizumi-san." you nod a little to him. He nods back walking past you only to stop in his tracks. "Y/n?" turning around you face him. "Yes?" scratching the back of his head he gives you a quick glance. "You're here earlier than usual, why is that?" "Oh! I went for a run with Emiko-kun this morning." Not having an answer he nods his head turning around leaving. Sitting down on the bench you go to get your phone forgetting to text Makki, and Mattsun, you came early. Just as you were about to open your messages Kentaro, walks by you. Shutting off your phone you greet him.

    "Good morning Kentaro!" confusion takes over as you here him growl? He continues to walk away not bothering acknowledging you. Or was that growl him acknowledging you? Thinking about it a little too hard you didn't hear anything else "BOO!" throwing your phone up you yelp jumping up spinning around to see the culprit who scared you. Breathing a little harder you smack both Makki, and Mattsun over the head lightly. "Don't scare me like that! I could've hit you." you scold them crossing your arms closing your eyes nodding your head. "Yeah okay, we're so scared." Makki, jokes. "You look hot." Mattsun, says bluntly making you turn around hiding your blush.

    "T-thanks I went shopping yesterday, and somehow I got dragged into changing somethings." you say looking at your feet, twiddling your fingers together nervously. "I agree with him. We'll walk you to class afterwards." Makki, says to you patting your back making conversation with Mattsun. After greeting everyone practice starts up. Halfway through you get a phone call, but too busy watching the boys practice you didn't have time to notice. Taking down notes of what the boys need to work on individual, and together while they clean up the gym.

     "Alright let's go!" grabbing your bag you walk out of the gym happily only to see everyone giving you pity looks. Your confidence fading. Backing up into the gym slowly thoughts consuming your head. An arm was thrown over your shoulder. "Hey, we're right here." Mattsun, says nudging his arm forward. "Right." Keeping your head up high you make your way down the hall. Just as you were about to make your way into the classroom you hear someone yelling your name. "Y/N!"

    As soon as your head turns to face the person they jump on you knocking you out of Mattsun, grip. Instinctively wrapping your hands around their waist you stumbles backwards a bit trying to find your footing right before you fall over. Blowing their hair at of your face you lean your head to side looking at them. "Hi Akako." she drops her legs down, feet hitting the floor letting you know to let her go. "I saw you walking, so I wanted to catch you before you headed in. Eat lunch with us today!" Claspings your guys hands together she smiles at you.

    Letting out a dry laugh you glance at the boys only to see neutral looks on their faces. "It would make me sooooo happy!" she exclaims leaning forward a bit. "Okay, okay i'll go. But the bell is going to ring soon." letting go of your hands she jumps up. "Yay! You didn't really have a choice, i'll come get you." she yells the last part as she's heading back to her classroom. "I'm sorry about that. Personal space isn't in her vocabulary." feeling bad that they had to witness that. "It's fine, are you sure you want to eat with them? They're popular, and no offense but you've always been an outcast."

    "I'll be fine Makki! They like me even if we aren't really the same." Not looking at them you walk into your classroom sitting down at your desk. Lunch came around rather quick making you sink into your chair hoping they forgot about you . Busting through the door Akako, and Emiko, looks around the room for you. "Y/nnnnnn!" Akako, says excitedly walking fast to you. Standing up you push in your chair "Hi, Akako, Emiko." trying to keep your voice quiet as possible feeling out of place having everyone whisper about you talking to the two hottest second year girls.

    "Come on let's go now!" Emiko, says. Both girls looping an arm under yours. Embarrassing. This is so embarrassing you thought. Letting them drag you outside to shaded area under a tree with the boys Fuji, Yoshi, and Hideo. Pulling you down between them. "Akari, and I are throwing a party tonight to celebrate us getting together." Fuji, says grinning. "Y/n, we need to go shopping!" Akako says practically sitting on your lap by this point.

    Not having the guts to tell her to get off you let her be. "I've never actually been to a party." you say looking at her. "It's okay! Just stick with me, and you'll have a good time." she says getting oddly close to your face. "Akako, Y/n, after we're done with clubs today let's go to the mall." Emiko, suggests drinking her water. That's how they stay so slim by not eating huh? Should've figured. Drowning out the conversation you found yourself thinking about Akako. Why was she being so clingy? Is this normal?

    Soon after that practice came. Towels being handed out along with water bottles. "Great job today everyone!" smiling at all of them getting a few "Thank yous" or small nods, and then kentaro, just making eye contact which became a staring contest not wanting to break but it felt so awkward to say the least. You held eye contact until the head coach started talking. Dismissing everyone you headed out the gym with the boys. "So I'm going shop-" you couldn't even finish your sentence because once again Akako jumps on your side making you tumble to the ground with her still attached to you.

    Giggling she gets off helping you up. "Hurry up! We have to get outfits!" "Akako, get off of them like that, personal space." pouting she backs up a few inches only to go, and wrap both of her arms around your left one slowly separating you from Makki, and Mattsun. Acting like they're not even here. "I call the backseat. Y/n, you're sitting next to me." pulling you before you can get a word in the two girls get in the vehicle making you sit in the middle of them.
