I snap my head straight upright when our feet hit the ground seeing the family's saying goodbye to their kids shedding tears, But then a huge Beautiful train flowed into the station and my eyes are completely captivated by it.

"I remember my first time seeing that train almost the same expression as yours" he let out a soft chuckle.

"ha ha very funny," I say rolling my eyes adding a small chuckle.

"now dear I'm sorry your parents cant be here to do this properly but I wish you good luck on your journey to ShadowSpire," he says embracing me in a hug.

i hug him back and then instantly start to notice all the looks and whispers. "is that a merlin" someone says in a hushed tone. "I think you should be getting on your way grandpapa".

he stops and looks around and sees what i see, "of course but here take these," he says giving me a pouch full of money, a lot of money.

"papa what is all this for," I say in a hushed voice.

"for anything of course, now be safe my darling I love you".

"love you most" and with that, he apparated away. I quickly put my bag on the train and headed inside and opened the first compartment I saw.

Right, when I opened the door my eyes were met with warm brown eyes.

"hi I'm Annelise" she said with a smile. "But you can call me Ana"

"um yes hi" I looked at the 2 boys who were sitting across from her one with really bright hair and the other with very green eyes.

"Hello I'm Jack," he said standing up with a smile holding out his hand.

I reached for his hand to shake it then the redhead interrupted me. "Elis" he said proudly like i was supposed to be impressed.

"Sorry?" I say acting confused.

"This is Jack Stokes yknow the famous flier," he said wiggling his eyebrows.

in the corner of my eye, I can see Jack roll his eyes and flush in embarrassment.

"oh flew where?" I asked still acting clueless.

Jack let out a snort and Annalise let out a small giggle well the blondie gave me a confused look.

"I'm kidding its a pleasure to meet you Jack I'm Severa and you are.?" I say looking at the blondie.

"oh, yea I'm Steven Mcroy" I just nodded my head and took a seat next to Ana.

" so I'm guessing you're new," she said stating the obvious.

"Yes I was homeschooled all of my life" I answer.

"may I ask what year your in" Jack speaks up and I can't help but notice his cheeks have a light blush color to them?

"5th year," I say with a smile.

"wicked so are we," Steven said with excitement.

The rest of the train ride was long in time but felt short in reality cause I and Jack ended up just talking the whole ride.

And I even ended up getting Steven some treats from the trolly so he would loosen up more around me. Eventually, we all changed into our uniform's and then the train came to stop. I grabbed my stuff and departed from Jack and them following the first years to the carriages to take us into the huge Beautiful yet dark and scary ShadowSpire Academy.
