Kaine's POV

"Sir Kaine, yuhoo! Wake up na po!" panggigising sa akin ng hyper kong yaya habang kinukuha ang nakapalupot na blanket sa katawan ko. Buti na lang at di ako kagaya ng breed ni Frost, natutulog na shirtless.

Speaking of, limang araw kong di nakita ang ibang myembro ng Like Stars. Maybe five days ago kami huling nagkita right before the event at the Sy Empire. I'm currently in Poland to check on Kaye, my 1 year younger sister. And Sheen's first love. Kaya di ko nagawang sabihan sila na aalis ako upang bisitahin si Kaye. I bet Sheen would probably freak out. One wrong move will create a ripple effect.

But the heck, it was almost one year ago when she left. Di ko naman magawang masisi silang dalawa, first love nila ang isa't isa eh. At itinadhana ako upang maging kontrabida.

Glad she was doing not that well. She often cry at night, trying to numb the pain, according to her nanny. She's still badly bothered. Too bothered that she even wanted go back and see Sheen.

Nevertheless, she still managed to balance her studies and Crap Cups, her own built pastry shop. Paminsan minsa'y naawa rin ako sa nag-iisang kapatid ko, too fragile to settle everything. She excellently kept the hurt by herself. That's what made me proud. And guilty also.

"Sir Kaine, nasa baba po si Ma'am Kaye," tugon ni Yaya Lory at iniayos ang mga nakahilerang gamit na hindi ko naligpit kagabi.

"Pakisabi po na inaantok pa ako," I replied and faked a yawn.

"Breakfast on bed!" Bumukas ang pinto ng kwarto ko at iniluwa doon ang kunwaring masaya kong kapatid na nagbibitbit ng food tray.

"I'm sleepy, Kaye. Kayo na lang ni Yaya ang magsabay," kunwaring pagpapakipot ko. Gross, no one knows how I missed this piglet.

Inilapag niya ang tray sa dresser at lumangoy sa tabi ko.

"Kuya naman eh, last day mo na dito. Let's seize the moment! Kaya wake up na, sleepyhead!" she actively said habang niyuyogyog ako ng malakas. I rose for revenge at kiniliti siya. Just like the old times.

Kumain na kami ng agahan at tumambay sa entertainment room pagkatapos. She was watching her favorite movie series while I was packing my things up in my luggage.

''Kuya, di ka ba talaga pwedeng mag-extend? Nakakalungkot kasi dito, palagi akong mag-isa.'' She slumped her shoulders and pouted.

''Eventhough I'd like to, I can't lil sis. I just came to check on how you are doing,'' I replied and cupped her cheeks.

''Don't worry, I'll visit as long as possible.'' I assured her and secured my luggage with a padlock.

She let out a deep sigh.''Sana nagpanggap na lang akong malungkot. If that would make you stay.''

''You don't have to wear mask, Kaye. I know the pain caused for what you've been through is still there.'' Natahimik at napayuko na lamang siya nang sabihin ko iyon. I hope the time I will come back, she'd be fully healed.

I rest my head and soughed. As much as possible, I don't wanna open topics like this. It all came in a full circle, rolling and rolling over again.

''Hey, whose this?" she nosily asked and stood up, with the pair of sneakers in her hand.

''Surrender that, baka maiwan ko pa yan dito.'' I tried to compose myself.

''Eh, sagutin mo muna ako. Kanino to? Ito ba yung binili mo nung iniwan mo ako sa shop?'' nagdududa niyang tanong.

''Oh, come on! You know I'm fond of sneakers. I collect!'' I kept my cool and faked a smile. I hope that would convince this piglet.

''Bakit napaka-defensive mo?"
