To say I felt like Selena Gomez every time Nick Jonas dumped her for Miley was the only accurate representation of what I was feeling and as I stared the fan accounts for Charly and Tayler I was envious why couldn't he ever look at me like that "Okay stop!" Regan snatches my phone from my hand I whine at this
I hate visiting her at the studio! "let me grieve!" I yell and he she shakes her head blocking the fan accounts and taking a seat next to me "Dessa you do realize you're way hotter than that bitch" she says and I nod at this of course I knew I was hotter than her didn't make it hurt any less
"I don't know Regan it's just hard because I can't put into works just down much I want to stop loving him how hard can it be to unlove someone!" I shout clutching my head and her mood perks up she strolls over to the piano gesturing for me to come sit next to her
"Let's try this I'll free style and you jump in whenever you feel like it just keep going until I stop playing" she suggest and I'm a bit reluctant but she already starts playing it

We spent a bit more time at the studio writing and recording the song and in a few hours we were halfway done "okay let's take a break and order food" Regan suggested and I nod at this placing the headphones back On the booth Hook and walking out to sit next to Charlotte
"You're doing great for you're first song" she says and I shake my head she nudged my arm and pulled me into a hug "this shit is deep D it's from you're heart so don't down play it" she scolds and I agree with her the song was pretty good I was happy for the vocal lessons I took in highschool
but at age 19 I still didn't have all my shit together "Hey" we looked over at the door and Regan was now greeting her boyfriend Char rolls her eyes "Really boys at the studio-" she cuts herself off seeing her boyfriend and running into his arms and ending up knocking down paper with lyrics on them
"My boy!" She yells and I laugh at this bending down to pick up the scattered papers it didn't occur to me who was helping me pick them up until I looked up and saw Vinnie staring at one of the sheets "These are good Regan" he complimented

Yeah Dave what's up he wasted no time scolding and yelling where the hell are you, you didn't say goodbye this morning you didn't tell me where you were going- I tuned him out after that and just stared at the people in front of me with a look of annoyance in my face
Dave I'm 19 you don't have to play father anymore this cause him to go on a rampage and start talking about how first it's the not saying goodbye soon I'd be moving out without a word my god he was an idiot but he was my idiot where even are you! I roll my eyes at this hanging up the phone I'll deal with him later glancing upward noticing that everyone was gone "Really guys!" I groan and i here something fall in the booth running into hoping I didn't accidentally leave something in the wrong place Vinnie suddenly jumped out at me and I screamed before punching his arm angrily "hey what was that for!" He whined
I glare at him crossing my arms "this isn't a playground Vinnie these things are fragile!" I scolded and he nods at this now standing in front of me "everyone went to go get food they told me to wait here with you" he explained and I nodded at this knowing Regan had a motive I could just see it now
"Wanna shot?" I ask it was late and I needed a drink after all these tears and recording he nodded and we walked over to the little mini bar sitting down on the carpeted floor and pouring ourselves shots "cheers?" I nodded at this clicking my shot glass against Vinnie's I take in the shot fast and place the glass down with ease "so why'd you write those lyrics they seemed pretty-"
I cut him off with a laugh "depressing I know" I state and he shakes his head at this placing a hand on my shoulder and I now notice just how close we are "no it's deep I just wonder what inspired it" he questions and I sighed at this placing my hands in my lap "found out I was getting cheat on the other day by my boyfriend of 3 years" I admit
he continued to listen I expected a "I'm sorry" like how I got from everyone else but he didn't look at me with pity he looked at me with something else it was respect "And I think deep down I knew it was only a matter of time but doesn't make me love him any less" I explained
he nods at this his hand now falling to my knee and rubbing his thumb in circles against my skin "it's a good song" he compliments and I nod I knew the song was good because it was real everything I felt was real I couldn't say the same for Tayler though tears welled in my eyes and before I knew it was crying
Vinnie noticed this and pulled me into a hug which I accepted I hadn't been this close to a guy since my birthday with Jeff and right now with my heart beating faster than it ever has before and his hands wrapped around my waist I pulled away a bit to look up at him he lips pulled into a smile and I started to lean in hoping I didn't make a fool out of myself
but to my surprise he kisses me back it's slow and passionate and I can feel my heart pounding through my chest he was captivating and I wanted more it was going well until "Ya better not be making out in their!" Regan yells and I back away from Vinnie quickly and he try to straighten ourselves out what did I just do so much for no relationships Odessa you idiot
