THE FIRST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH HAD BEEN DEEMED DRINKING DAY BY THE SLYTHERIN HOUSE. Once a month, those who cared enough to join in on the festivities arrived at the room of requirements no later than nine o'clock.

Estelle had found the room by accident during a rather intense game of hide and seek her second year. She had fallen asleep and stayed there overnight, waking to a manhunt for the missing girl.

After she had told Oliver and Marcellus of her findings, the two realized with bliss that the room was almost perfect for rule breaking.

More often than not, only those who had been let into the closed circle arrived. Of course, Regulus, Oliver, Marcellus and Estelle had never missed a day but they were far from alone during their charades.

Alecto and Amycus Carrie often joined their group. The twins didn't bother to drink and instead took up the practice of using the cruciatus curse on each other while seeing who could last longer.

Barty Crouch Jr almost always made an appearance alongside Caius Avery, much to Estelle's displeasure. He had always given her the creeps and when he was drunk, his antics only worsened. She didn't particularly mind Caius but she had never taken the chance to thoroughly evaluate him.

Marcellus always made sure to keep the younger of the two boys in check.

Evan Rosier accompanied his brother frequently, downing anything he could get his hands on. More times than not, Oliver had to carry the boy back to the dormitories all the while evading the dreaded Filch.

Sometimes the boys brought a girl that they had taken interest in, sometimes they came alone, but it was always assured that by the end of the night, nobody would be of sane mind.

That particular night, Caius had come branding gifts. He had somehow persuaded his father to owl him enough alcohol to last the entire year. Each attendee brandished their own bottle, their drunken shouts echoing off the walls of the room.

Marcellus, much to everyone's dismay, had put on muggle music for the night. Nobody would ever admit it but the band he had chosen wasn't particularly bad and thus everyone had taken it upon themselves to dance wildly to the sound.

Oliver drunkenly shoved his friend, nodding towards Regulus and Estelle dancing a bit further away from the group. The boy had his free hand around her waist, her's draped over his shoulder. Every so often, Estelle would lift her bottle to his lips and laugh as he drank.

"This is the one night a month that the kid gets to be happy," Marcellus murmered, raising his own bottle before bringing it to his lips as if to cheer to the fact. He had taken a special liking to Regulus Black over the years, assuming the position of an older brother that he so desperately needed.
