CHAPTER FOUR.
WHAT TO DO NOW.
HOGWARTS.
september 4th, 1976."WELL, WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO WITH HER NOW?" JAMES ASKED DESPERATELY ALL WHILE TRYING TO HIDE HIS EXCITEMENT WITH THE SITUATION. It wasn't everyday that the Maurauders went about and kidnapped somebody in the middle of Hogwarts.
Remus let out a strangled gasp at the question and spun with wide eyes. "We take her back! Why is that even a debate?" He cried out, flinching when the three of them quickly sh'd him.
"How do you expect we do that," Sirius hummed, cocking his head to the side. "Suppose I bang on the door until my dearest brother answers. Then what? I just say, 'Hey Regulus, I know we haven't spoken in nearly four months but here's you girlfriend back.' How's that sound?"
Everyone froze at the sound of footsteps and turned towards the stairs just as Lily Evans revealed herself. She looked at the boys carefully before her eyes fell to Estelle and she let out a hushed cry of shock.
Sirius instantly jutted to the side and stood infront of her as if Lily hadn't seen her, his hands raising in defense as he shot a look towards his friend to jump to his aid. "James—"
"Oh don't even try it, Sirius. James is my boyfriend. I am not his bloody dog," Lily spat, her eyes falling back to Estelle who had seemingly fallen asleep during all the arguing. "What the fuck did you guys do? Did he kidnap her?"
Remus gave Sirius a look that screamed 'Told you' and glanced around nervously. He could see the gears turning in James' brain and the boy always had ideas that made him want to tuck his tail and run.
"Hear me out," James began, pacing back and forth. All four teens turned to watch as he began to run his hands through his hair. "What if we actually kidnap her—"
"Jesus fucking Christ!"
"You've both gone mad! I swear to it!"
"James, are you serious?"
"Hear me out," James repeated over the shouting, holding his hands up. He knew this was a good idea. He always had good ideas. "Estelle is the Slytherin chaser. She's also a bloody good one, is she not? Now keep that in mind when I ask you what this upcoming Sunday is."
When Sirius realized what his friend was trying to explain, he couldn't help the grin that broke out over his face. That was the reason that James Potter was the brother he had always hoped for.
"The first scrimmage of the year," Remus suddenly joined in on the realization with a small frown. What James was proposing was essentially a crime but they were destined to lose if Estelle had the time to practice all weekend.
