💚 Chapter 44 💚

Rakshit came to room with angry face. When he entered the room, he saw Drishti already returned back. To seeing her and thinking about her those words, his anger is growing more and ego is hitting him. Drishti also looked back and gave a smile to him. She came near him.

Drishti - Rakshit tum,,

Rakshit - Jaldi apna packing karo. Hum sam ko wapas jane wala hain.

Saying it, he went to closet and closed the door on her face. Drishti is totally confused by seeing his sudden behavior.

Drishti - Yeh Rakshit ko kya hogaya?

In evening, they got ready to leave for house. Drishti and Divya hugged their parents. They they bidded them. When they came near car, Shikhar already sat on passenger seat as he will drive. Divya was about to sit with Shikhar when Rakshit stopped her.

Rakshit - Divya tum piche betho, main aage betha hu.

Divya - Par di,,

Rakshit - Please,

Divya nodded and sat with Drishti on back seat. Rakshit sat with Shikhar. Drishti now sure that something happened with Rakshit for that he behaves like odd and specially with her. She didn't protest with him and thought talk to him later when they reached home. And then they started their journey towards home.

After a while, they reached home safely. They entered house and saw everyone is present in hall. When family members saw them they came near them. Rashi and Simran hugged their bhabi's as they missed them very much. Then other also welcomed them. But something is missing which Shikhar immediately got in his mind. Then he said,

Shikhar - Wase aap sab log yaha hain. Par woh log kaha hain?

Ojas - Woh log? Kiski baat kar rahe hoo tum?

Shikhar - Are woh Bua aur woh Anita. Kaha hain woh log? Kahi dekhay nahi de rahe hain?

Mahima - Are Damini aur Anita kal subah wapas chali gayi. Waha kuch problem agaya isiliye.

Shikhar - Kya!!! He almost screamed with smile.

Divya - Shikhar,, pulling his hand.

Shikhar - Mera matlab kya? Woh log chale gaye. Woh bhi hume bina bataye. This is not fair. Hume baatana chahiye tha.

Mahima - Notanki bandh kar.

Rakshit - Main room main ja rahe hu. Mujhe fresh hona hain.

Mahima - Haa haa jao.

Drishti was about to say something but he went from there. Drishti felt sad but thought might be he tired. After that, everyone went to their room. Drishti came to their room and saw Rakshit already fresh and, sat on couch and doing something on his phone. Drishti signed and went to closet to placed the luggage. She came out from closet and was about to sit with Rakshit when he said,

Rakshit - Waha table ke upar ek file hain. Jaldi uss file se details lekar ek presentation banao. Jo hume Kal hi office jake project par sign karna hoga.

Drishti - Rakshit tumhe kuch hua hain kya?

Rakshit - Kyu?

Drishti - Mujhe aise kyu lag rahi hain ki tum mujhe ignore kar rahi hoo. Subah se thik se baat bhi nahi kia. Any problem?

Rakshit - I don't want to answer your questions. Jaise kaha hain wase karo.

Saying it, he went from there. Drishti is still stand there with confused face. Then she also got fresh and came to dinning table for help Mahima and others. But she saw everything already done for dinner. The dinner was good for everyone but for Drishti it was silent. She gazed Rakshit but Rakshit did not meet his grace. His silence and ignorance killing Drishti inside. She somehow gulped her food.

After that everyone headed to the bedroom. But Drishti went to library as she have to make preparation for tomorrow meeting. She placed necessary papers and files on table and settled herself on chair and started her working. Time turned into 12 am. But Drishti is working still. Although her eyes got heavy for sleep but work is more important than her sleep.

Time turned into 3 am. Rakshit is laid on bed but he can't able to sleep. His mind hit that Drishti is not beside him. That means she did not come in room. Then where is she? Although he is angry on her because of not telling him that big truth, but inside he cares for her. Brussed all the negative vibes, he headed to the corridor room. When he entered library, he saw Drishti is sleeping peacefully. Her head is placed on table and she is sleeping. He went near her and saw the works already complete. Then he adjusted all papers in file. After that he took her in his arms make sure that she won't wake up. Then he took her in their bedroom and laid down her on bed, covered with blanket. He is admiring her for some times. She is looking cute when she sleep. Then Rakshit said,

Rakshit - Tumne aisa kyu kia Drishti. Tumne mujhe kyu nahi baataya hain ki tum mujhse pyar karti hoo. Kya main itna hi trustworthy nahi hu jiske wajase tumne mujhe yeh sab nahi baataya. Yeh sochke ki agar main tomhare baat ko vishwas nahi karu. Drishti tum mere dost hoo. Agar duniyaa bhi tumhe sath nahi dete hain nah toh main tumhe sath dunga. Main itna bhi buda nahi hu. Par main tomhare sath bohot naraz hu. Tumne toh apni dil ki baat letter main hi baataya. But mera answer bhi toh tumhe chahiye hain nah. Aur yeh answer main tumhe kese dunga woh ek secret hi rakhne do. Just wait and see.

Then he kissed her forehead and also slept beside her.

Next morning, both went to office. Whole journey, Rakshit was silent. Now Drishti is more upset and sad with his ignoring behavior. She wanted to talk to him but as usual he divert the topic. After sometimes, they reached office. All employees greeted them with cordially. Drishti and Rakshit went to meeting room. After meeting, they cracked their deal. And then Drishti went to her cabin and silently working. Whereas Rakshit is sitting on chair and rubbing his temple. Suddenly something struck in his mind. He took his phone and dialed a number. The number is Shikhar's.

Rakshit - Shikhar tu kaha hain?

Shikhar - Main toh ghar pe hi hu. Kyu kuch hua hain kya?

Rakshit - Tu ek kaam kar tu Divya ko lekar golden palace main aaja. Jaldi.

Shikhar - Par,,

Before he said further, Rakshit cut the call line. Then he took his car keys and came out. He told his manager Vinay that if Drishti asked anything about him, he tells her that he has an important work. And after that he went from office.
