"aether , just what do you think you're doing?" diluc sighed, just in his pajamas, hair untied from its original pony tail and quite messy, it was just past 1:00 anyways. his little traveler should be in bed sleeping with him.

aether, not in his full get up, rolled his eyes. "I'm going out for a hunt."

"a hunt. i would hope you were a little smarter than to just be running around at night." diluc leaned his body against the hall way, jaw clenching only a bit while he watched the blonde continue to put his shoes on.  they've been on and off, snappy with eachother for the past few days.

by all means, diluc was fine with a little..added spice to the mix. sure. but the constant eye rolling, ignoring, blatant disrespect was just. pissing. him. off.

"aether. take you're shows off and come back to bed, you can hunt in the morning." diluc leaned off the wall, arms crossing over his chest.

aether froze , leaning back up to make direct eye contact with the red head, jaw clenching "bye diluc."

red eyes widened in surprise. ok what-
"aether, its the morning come on, just-" hands reaching out, aether backed up a step.

"I'm an adult , i can leave when i want." with that the blonde turned ready to open the front door and go about his quest. he didn't really mean to be this rude to his boyfriend, to everyone really. he knows he's being asshole but he doesnt have a reason why, he just feels wrong.

he snapped at amber earlier for dragging out a conversation after a particularly annoying fight against an abyss mage, a tiny stirring of guilt started when she was silent and not looking at him all the way back to mondstadt. she's never silent.

he yelled at the lady when he was buying produce , only getting more annoyed when he realized they were out of tomatoes, it wasn't her fault he knew, but in the moment it was frustrating.

he sent klee away earlier, running into her in the field, quite harshly he thinks. "i'm not in the mood to play childish games with you, go away." aether grumbled.

"bu- but you sure?" klee whimpered , big eyes tearing up only slightly. aether gulped, the lump in his throat from the guilt eating him up causing him to pause. he hated feeling like this, he hated knowing he did something wrong, he guesses that's where the sudden burn of irritation came from next.

"I'm sure , klee. go bug jean."

klee blinked , tiny hands wrapping around the straps of her back pack , her pointy ears seemed to droop just like her almost constant sunshine happiness. she pouted "klee can tell something is wrong? d-do you wanna talk about it-"

"KLEE . just. gO. " aether growled, he didn't even notice his sword materializing in his hand when he whipped around to face the little elf like girl. paimon shot out at that exact moment, eyebrows furrowed in anger as she watched tears spring up in the child's eyes .

"klees s-sorry!" and ran quick as hell right back to mondstadt. "aether!" paimon yelled. but the blonde felt like his head was under water and the majority of the way back to dilucs he just ignored her anyways.
