"aether, c'mon im sure mr.zhongli wouldn't mind if you stopped by." paimon gently pushed her tiny hands at the blondes shoulder. no matter how hard she tried , sadly, no she wasn't strong enough to move him.

she huffed when aether just through a gloved hand back carelessly , swiping at her to go away.

it wasn't a great day really. he was stressed , a few scratches covered his face and arms, he lost a fight with a stonehide. it wasn't fun being tossed around like he was nothing.

but he was.

he sort of grew a love/hate relationship with ajax . the gingers snide remark early about probably losing a fight with him, their round 2, had irritated him to no end. so in a blinded sort of anger aether, severely unprepared, had thought the wisest idea was to go head first into a battle with a mutated mitachurl was the best course of action.

so what. his careless actions got the best of him, bit he knew on a better day he could kick that narcissists ass if he wanted to, if he could do it before he can and will do it again.

with a defeated sigh, aether drew his big puppy dog eyes up to the funeral homes door . all he had to do was open it, walk a short distance and be met right with the source of his greatest comfort and just watch as all the piled up stress of the day magically go away.

aether shook his head, face a picture of unimpressed at the way his thoughts always drift south when thinking about the taller man. a big huff, he turned to paimon, her tiny arms crossed as she floated a healthy distance away from him, y'know. so she didn't get hit again.

"good! paimon will stay out here ! i won't bother you!" she squeaked, making shoo motions with her hands in the direction of the door. aether bit back a smile and turned to push the wooden doors open.

not paying attention at all to his surroundings he jogged a quick pace down the dimmed hall from the lobby area to another wooden door just a few feet away. biting his lip he rose a shaky hand to knock on the door , just as it opened instead . to his ever decaying luck, he looked up in shock to be met with two big blue eyes instead of the golden he was hoping for, surprise clearly written across none other than one man he least wanted to see himself. ajax.

"oh-," the ginger exclaimed, blue eyes quickly taking in the shorter's appearance, a look of what might have been concern quickly passed his features only to be hidden by a snarky smile, "you here to see your boyfriend?" he teased.

aether only chewed into his bottom lip, eyes glancing to the side of ajax, into the little sliver of the open door way that he could see behind him, catching a glimpse of two golden eyes quickly catching his before he looked right down at the floor. silence.

ajax frowned. aether always took a chance to snark back at him, that's what he'd come to love when running into the blonde, someone who was willing to throw his own level of sass right back at him. "you looked like you got into a big tumble, huh, should i see the other guy ." the taller smirked.

he reached a hand out to playfully push aethers shoulder, what he didn't expect was for him to gasp in shock and back up enough to slam into the adjacent wall.
