Snowstorm opened his eyes and gasped, taking a moment before standing up. He looked around and saw everything at the RainWing Village, which was still all in order. RainWings were mostly in their huts or sleeping in hammocks. Some were resting on suntime platforms.

The sun was still high up in the sky, shining brightly as it always did. He thought about his dream. Was it really real? Was Menace really trying to communicate with him and help him become 'one with him'? He didn't know if he could fully trust him. What if he was lying? Snowstorm could never be sure.

He looked to the other side and found Moondrift laying there gazing at the canopy of the village. She just stayed there; quiet and watching, as if she was spying on every individual RainWing her eyes came across. Moondrift was absolutely still, staring intensely at Spectral's hut, looking like she wanted to bolt over there and see what's happening.

'Yet she decides to stay here with me,' Snowstorm thought. He groaned and sat up, looking at Moondrift, who turned her head to him, her ears twitching.

"Oh good," she said, "you're awake. Is your headache gone now?"

He blinked at her. "What headache?" It took him a moment to remember how sore his head was and that migraine he experienced before he fell asleep. He face-taloned himself. "Oh right. That headache. Yeah, it's gone now. I guess the quickest cure to it was sleeping it away."

"Awesome," she said quickly, standing up and flying off the platform. "Now come on, Spectral said there was a dead SandWing near the RainWing Village that I really want to see and investigate."

Snowstorm rubbed his eyes and yawned, standing up and flying after her. He didn't know where exactly near the village the dead SandWing was, but apparently Moondrift knew. It was annoying for him that she kept soaring downwards in perfect spirals and darting straight ahead the next second. 'I guess that's what an assassin can do.'

They flew right past almost every RainWing there and startled them for going too fast like something was wrong. 'What am I thinking? Of course there's something wrong! There's a dead SandWing near the village, an IceWing with a contained demon and a shadow dragon who could be disguised as anyone right now!'

He forgot how many problems were happening right now, that he was sure he'd go mad at how someone's life could be at stake. Probably all lives after what Wither had said at the caves. What will that object do? What did those symbols on the entrances mean? What did those words read if someone could understand the old language?

Moondrift and Snowstorm both stopped flying and landed in front of Spectral's hut, where the RainWing stepped out and jumped with joy when she saw them.

"Yay!" She cried happily. "You're here! Awesome, now I can show you that dead SandWing which I totally reported to Queen Glory once I saw it. Now follow me!"

She bounded off from out of her hut and flapped her wings as Moondrift and Snowstorm hovered in front of her. The RainWing changed the colour of her scales to more calmer shades of blue and purple instead of her normal blinding vibrant scales.

She flew off as Moondrift and Snowstorm followed her in silence. The IceWing didn't really like awkward quietness, it just felt so....awkward.

When they landed, Spectral gestured the two of them to follow her through the trees and into a darker part of the Rainforest, where there were no colourful butterflies but green crickets spying on them from a leaf.

It was more greener there, lots of emerald coloured vines wrapped around the moist trees, which were smaller and thinner than the ones around the village; covered with not only vines, but a variety of strange beetles that Snowstorm wasn't really fond of, even just looking at them crawling around the trees. And he hoped not on HIM.
